Ah, what the crap. Here is how my set up looks as of now!

[snip x 2]

Yeahhhhhh, Repin' the same monitor. Have you noticed the bezel on the new ACD are like the exact same. I'm talking about how they bothe have a silver casing that comes out from behind. Thought that was kinda cool.

^ LOL...I work on the couch sometimes too, but that is a whole new level of couch-potato ;)

It's nice to have 20" of screen on the couch. It was a bigger deal when I was using a 13.3" MacBook.

For anyone who was wondering, it's an Ergotron mount with 2 extra arm extensions and the monitor is an HP w2007.

Here's a side view. It's extremely positionable due to all the joints and it also has vertical motion and tilt as well as rotation to portrait.

wow that look like a lot of torque you are putting on that small hinge and subsequently the wall. id make sure that

1) the hinge is able to support that
2) the wall is able to support that

last thing you want is your monitor falling down and ripping out some of your wall

other than that, it looks cool

2 bolts are 2 inches into a stud to hold the thing up. It's extremely solid.

Just moved across the country from Chicago to Los Angeles. Still getting settled, but here's my setup at the moment.

I love Chicago, but it's hard to beat my new view!
