That's not my point. My point is that you are paying more for exactly the same S-IPS panels but with next-to-no inputs. Does the shiny metal case really justify losing all but one of the inputs & massively hiking the price? I suppose for some people that answer is yes & I feel genuinely sorry for them for being so naive.

do you like to argue people's purchases? yeh i am content with the purchase of my 23" ACD even more so now that the 24" LED display does no suit me at all. i was contimplating the Dell Ultrasharp, one of the HP business models and a BenQ display and i chose the ACD. the design is beautiful and timeless, backlight is bright but doesnt seem to burn my eyes and movies and photos look absolutely awesome on it. youre the one whos being naïve not me.

I think it's the best looking of all the new nanos.
Agreed..thats why i got it!

I never liked the old colours. Silver/white would look ****, the black/silver really goes well together and it seems to be staying in A1 condition, still no scratches with regular use!

I'm not arguing anything. I simply enquired whether I was the only one who thinks that ACDs are severly overpriced compared to other monitors that use the exact same panel, probably identical backlighting components too, but sport a whole range of connections. Obviously for you it was worth paying more & losing all the connections for the benefit of the case design.

Mini-Displayport adapters arrived today. So now I've got both LCDs up and running.

Windows on the left, MBP on the right.

I'm thinking about a dual-screen desktop that spans the 2 LCDs...

(Eventually I'll clean up the wires, but having a new MBP stops me from doing anything but play with it)

I'm at college. Amazing how much you can actually fit into these little rooms.
BTW: my digi broke right before I could take this picture. Taken on my iPhone.

i think i am going to start quoting people by taking pictures of their post on my screen

Ha, that's clever.

what's the background you've got on the mbp? you got a link to it?

Here is the one on the right. Here is the one on the left. Sorry to the guy who's setup that is, I just happen to own the one on the left and just saw the one on the right on InterfaceLIFT.

EDIT: Whoops, misread the post. Here is the one on his MBP; I've got that one too.

How did you manage to quote that? I changed it in about a minute with the new link, but your reply is 7 minutes after mine.

I hit quote, started my reply, went to get the link form interfacelift, got a phone call, finished my reply, hit Submit.

The funny thing is that I've already changed both the LCDs to different desktops.

Ah. I figured it was something like that. But yeah, I know what you mean, my desktop picture changes every 15 minutes; thus I never bother to post in the desktop thread. I think I've posted in it once, when I still had my laptop whose picture never changed.

How many neck aches do you get with turning 90 degrees everytime you want to check something on the other monitor? ;)

Shownarou I agree.
Do you have a single or double room?

I'd like to see more pictures if you do not mind.

It's a single room. But more apartment style. I'll try and get more pictures soon!

Edit: Here's the links to the other pictures.

A swivel chair would be nice. :)
