Pic is of my loft, where I get to do what I want (rest of the apartment is my GF's). Here is my dual monitor set up, both on monitor holders. Hooked up to a homebuilt gaming pc. Also have a gigabit dual 450 hooked up to the larger monitor

Elsewhere I have a mini in the living room for movies and web browsing. Also have a macbook for traveling. Cube is for looks! All connected by a airport extreme and a 750GB NAS for storage, airport extreme for printing and an express for music.

Looking at the new macbook or macbook pro.

Yeah, seeing that Cube, I'm thinking of buying one myself! No seriously, I had a desire a while ago to get one, but I sorta forgot about that desire. If nothing else, as you're using it, they sure look good! :D

Cube is running, but just not really applicable for real world use. I rarely use the powermac hooked upstairs to the monitors, so I haven't even turned the cube on in 4 months.

I may put it as a headless server or something for itunes for my stereo, but my airport express does that.

I need a use for the cube! Any ideas besides looking pretty? I do have an old ACD acrylic version for it.

Stick a large HD in there and run intech speedtools use it as a server or media center! then u can run leopard via a firmware hack....if you really wanna go all out you can get a new processor too 1.7 ghz

my cube is 450mhz and runs leopard 300 gb hard drive and I just use it as a media center I did a few mods to it look to make it look prettier!:D

Since apparently nobody posts pictures, here's mine including the newest member - Aluminum Macbook.

That's the Glassbook, the 23" Apple Cinema, Mac Pro in Bootcamp, Logitech MX Revolution, MX5500, Panasonic DMC-TZ5 point and shoot, several external hard drives.

Missing is my now benched Thinkpad x61 tablet because the glassbook is so much sexier.

edit - thought it was interesting that I've got a black and aluminum theme going on here. Wasn't intentional, I swear.

For reasons I won't go into, my mother and I are staying at my grandparents for a few months (I will be heading off to university from community college in a few months).

This is my setup for now.

That looks quite nice, except the ACD looks a little weird on top of the speaker. But to each his own.

I have to agree with that, it is a great setup, but the display looks a little odd on top of that box or speaker (or whatever it is). It almost looks like it is ready to fall. Any particular reason why it is that high up?

But anyways, it is a great setup!

Just curious, what is the stuff sticking out of the drawers of your desk? Looks like something with a barcode still on it.

Good eye! Its the security coating on an envelope from the IRS (no, I'm not getting audited :D)

To the on top of speaker crowd, I'm kinda tall (6'2 ish) and that puts it at eye level. Its not a sub, its the center channel of my 5.1 stereo. Sub is under the desk.
