It's just a TN panel, but after playing with the settings a bit it looks awesome to me. But then again, I got it for a bargain.
monitor looks great. how is it for video/movies?

no offense to all you 3rd gen ipod lovers... but are ya blind? It's by far the ugliest ipod ever made (not to mention the least functional)!

Speaking of speakers, anyone know of a way to get the audio from my MBP and windows box coming through the single set of speakers at the same time?

I streamlined my desk. Here have a look

my only question is how sturdy is it? i don't plan on putting extremely large amount of weight on it but sturdiness is still a factor since there is a lot of room.
yeah i had my 40 lcd on it and it wasnt shaky or anything. definetley sturdy. what are you planing on puting on it?
as of now i would just have an xbox 360, 19" (i think it's 19 inches..) HP monitor, speakers, iHome, wireless keyboard/mouse. and in the near future an HDTV around 30", i don't know if it would replace the HP monitor, or if i would use both, depends on how much room.
oh, i would have a couple little things but they barely take up room so i just put them behind the monitor, so no need to mention them. but i would like to have a little space to leave my Touch hooked up and not in the way, but still visible.

yeah it will easilly take that load. but if you can i would try to put the heavier items on the drawer unit side just because it seems sturdier
thanks for the advice. i'll put this desk on my christmas list
if you dont mind me asking... did you like my setup?
i don't mind at all. i do like your setup, it's very simple in the pictures you posted (you mentioned you had your TV on it). everything is organized, the TV stand and the desk.
i realllly want to get a macbook but their too damn expensive, i'm stuck with a PC and i have so many chords and accessories for it. i (in my opinion) have OCD towards desk setups and everything and mine drives me insane. i want a bigger desk and reorganize my chords.
yeah well i just sold my macbook pro and im getting a 24 inch imac in a few hours so im pretty excited
congrats! i'm a junior in high school, and i figure if i save up money from christmas (from aunts/uncles etc) and my birthday (long shot..it's in june) i could have a shot at a macbook.
my parents keep telling me i should just wait because i'll get one for "free" because it will be included in college tuition, but that doesn't apply to every college i'm looking at.
post a picture of your imac when you set it up .
im a sophmore and that pretty much the way i pay for everything except my great grandma is pretty rich(lives on the same street as martha stewart in conneticut) so i get 500 from her on chrismas and 250 for birthdays so that helps. and i will for sure.
haha lucky you. i also pay for my things, i've spent well over two thousand on myself, i know it makes me sound selfish but it's not like i'm supporting anyone but myself, i live with my parents. but i get my license this month so i might look for a job, work a few hours a week to take in some extra money.
Ahhh to be young.....i'm a junior, and have all the stuff in my sig plus a ps3 i paid for from working in a kitchen 40 hours a week all summer.
woo!
i still need my license..
