Are those shelves from IKEA? Also, what TV stand is that? Finally, what desk is that? :)

The shelves are from Ikea : link

The TV stand is from Ikea too, I think it's called an Oppli.

And the desk was actually given to me, I think it's from Ikea as well but not certain on that.

Cheers.

Thanks. Looks like I need to make a trip to Ikea! ;) One more thing, I really like the colors of your wall, can you tell me what they are? It's sort of hard to tell from the pictures. Sorry for all the questions

Haha it's ok. Emm the wallpaper is from Homebase, and the greyish colour on the other walls is part of the Dulux range, nooo idea what it's called though, can't remember sorry.

Update. Now I have my external monitor set up and a Griffin Elevator stand holding up my MBP.

Still loving my MBP.

Why does everyone put the Mac Pro onto of their desk won't that annoy you with noise. I don't understand anyone want to explain?

I don't, it hides on the floor.

I think the people who do put it on the desk want to flaunt their expensive purchase, even if it is just to themselves.

I keep it on the desk for multiple reasons:

1.) My house is a dust trap and it will collect even more on the floor.
2.) I have pets
3.) It's not loud at all, I never hear it except when it first boots up
4.) Saves legroom.
5.) It's beautiful.

I've always had mine on my desk and prefer it because it's a lot easier to access the back ports if I need too.

My Mac Pro is on the floor, though I used to have it on the desk in months past. As far as noise goes, it really wasn't much louder - the MP is already a very quiet machine.

After a year of saving, I finally received my first ever Mac on Christmas day. Sorry about the awful lighting, I wanted to include the switched-on Grono desk lamps in the pictures.

looks cool. I could not live in a black room. but looks very cool.

Yeah it's a little weird at first, but it's not totally blacked out--I have three glass sliding doors to a balcony as well as four fusuma, or traditional Japanese sliding doors--three for the closet (one whole wall), and one for the entrance to the room so it's not totally black.
