To answer the inquires, it is a case. I prefer my electronic items to be in black (i.e. the case)

As the old saying goes "to each his own," right?

This is my current set-up. The only thing you can't see is my little HP printer that is on the top-shelf.

anyone have experience with hooking up a playstation 2 to a monitor?
The results are less than perfect I'm afraid. The PS2 can't output VGA/HDMI, so your only options are;

a.) buy a monitor with S-Video/composite video input

or

b.) buy a VGA adapter

Both results look like ****, unless you invest in a rather expensive upscaling converter.

New MacBook, new chair, 'new' desk to the left (for school paperwork and such). Gathered some old office stuff that was lying around in my house (stapler, tape thing and such) and rearranged the whole thing. Looking nice albeit the fugly 'paperwork' table that's (luckily) just gonna be there for a couple of weeks more then its replaced by an 'L' shape new desk.

Did you buy or make those coloured squares? :)

bought the little 6x6 or 7x7 canvas' and then used montana gold spraypaint of different colours to paint them all. They are my idea of pixels. super easy to do and takes like no time with spray paint!

LOL.. I had the "help" album up there but it was a bit too thick and kept falling off the shelf (i made them a tad too shallow)

The tables are simple ikea table tops.. The tops are $30 each and each leg is $5 so each table is $50 or $150 for three.. They come in 2 sizes and these are the larger ones.

I dont' like the "desks" per se becuase of all the nooks and crannies... too cluttered for me so I just bought simple tables

Watch out for when they start bowing in the middle...

I'll keep an eye out for it... They dont really have much weight on them.. heaviest thing is the imac.

If they start bowing i'll reinforce the bottom or buy real tables.. lol this was just a stopgap solution for my desk needs.

My friend has the same setup only in the darker color and he sprung for the glass top pieces also which should help with bowing.
