I've mine for over a year with little bowing. But at $20 a pop, I'm not worried.
I don't know if the glass top would help prevent bowing though.

I know, I was merely mentioning it as CarlsonCustoms has a nice setup. Bowed tables would ruin it a bit... :)

I wasn't attempting to argue. I was just saying that somehow I have minimal bowing and it holds a 30" ACD and my mammoth self that leans on it constantly.

New MacBook, new chair, 'new' desk to the left (for school paperwork and such). Gathered some old office stuff that was lying around in my house (stapler, tape thing and such) and rearranged the whole thing. Looking nice albeit the fugly 'paperwork' table that's (luckily) just gonna be there for a couple of weeks more then its replaced by an 'L' shape new desk.

Those speakers, AV40? Why everyone says they are too big, by looking your picture and comparing it to macbook I find them rather small... And how have you found audio quality from them? Bad? Local store is selling them for 99 euros this month so I have been thinking about buying them..

little picky, but those m10's sub isnt a typical sub that keep hidden.
its supposed to be kept at ear level.

I know about the sub.. I ran them on the desk for awhile but honestly they are fine right where they are. They arnet hidden on the floor or anything. They are basically right under the table top. I dont listen to bass heavy rap or anything so I'm not losing much.

Which picture do you mean? All the albums above are Beatles albums.. The one on the left is a RadioHead poster and the one on the right with the guy sitting in the chair is called "blown away" from the old Maxxell commercials..

If you are talking about the pic on the desk that's my family

Where did you get that fancy mac-like card reader?

MacBook Pro 2.2GHz and the G3. Didn't want to spring for the wireless stuff. Plus, I prefer the wired keyboard over the tiny wireless one.

Dude, you almost have the same 2 Mac's as me! My G3 is the earlier tray model, and i havent picked it up yet, and my MBP is in Sig.

Have to disagree though, Wireless is the way for my MacBook Pro (Actually, i use the Trackpad and Keyboard)

Yup, M-Audio's AV40s. They are heavy, they have a really odd footprint and the included cables are worthless. Once you replace the original cables they're quite fantastic, for the money they're awesome. They're not exactly hi-fi by all means, however, they render most (if not all) 2.1 systems (like Bose, yuck) completely useless. For 99 euros they're a go-go, 8$ less than for what I got them, you can use those $8 (6 euro) for a nice RCA cable. They're really cheap, really loud, really good sounding for the price, go for it.

Although glass desks are nice, one thing that annoys me is how easily dust collects on top. Oh, the big minidisplay port adapter is also an eyesore.

I would recommend adding the mStand and a keyboard to your setup, that way you could wrap the adapter underneath the stand to hide it, plus it's a better viewing angle... just a friendly opinion. :)
