However, I think it's a really comfortable, clean and cool workspace! =)

I totally agree, it looks great. makes me think of some reorganisation for my workplace, wallmounts seem to be nice.

Yeah, when I first started setting up wallmounts, I was thinking that the monitors are hanging over the desk anyway -- how much space was I really gaining? Turns out, quite a bit -- for instance, my little audio mixer is now sitting right where a monitor stand would have been in my old setup. Things like that can go right under the monitors; it works nicely.

Which wallmounts do you use? I´m thinking of some Ergotron system, because the monitors stay very flexible that way, bur maybe you can recommend some other ones.

I have some Vantage Point UL01-B mounts (http://www.amazon.com/Vantage-Point-Ul01B-30-Inch-Swivel/dp/B000K10E1Y) -- I bought them because they were cheap, fit my needs and were available locally.

They're relatively flexible -- a good range of motion horizontally, and they tilt up and down. They're probably not the most flexible mounts out there... but they work great for me (since I have three monitors, I'm limited as to how much I can move them around if I want to keep them bumped up next to each other.)

You guys must have some lame parties....laptops? If you put that stuff in your bag, where does all the booze go?!

LOL, I meant to quote the guy that said he brings his laptop to parties, not the guy who says you shouldn't.

Clarification: If you bring your laptop to a party, you haven't been to a party.

If I owned a Mac Pro, you couldn't PAY me to keep it in my dorm room :eek:

btw, you get a new camera? I remember this setup being more blurry last time :p

Lol trust me I keep my room locked all the time though I dont think many people know about it anyways besides for close friends.

Last picture could have been with my phone, don't remember but I usually use a d50.

Everybody at my school has a $3000+ computer and many have additional desktops that they've brought from home and nobody locks their doors here... its very strange for "outsiders."

We have maybe 5 thefts a year MAYBE

I dont think it happens that much here but you never know I suppose. I think the majority of people here wouldn't know what they were looking at.

I go to school in a poor area and if my fellow dorm-mates found something shiny, it would be GONE  whether they knew what it was or not...

haha no poor people arent thieves its jsut the they get the urge and intention to do something like that, at times they cant afford it and don't want to work for it, they want the easy way not.

Poor people are thieves?

In the area where I live, break-ins are a regular occurrence. In my instance, individuals steal things from out-of-town college students. I was not making an absolute statement, please don't assume I am that shallow :)
