Just replaced my 20" iMac with a cinema display. I had a MacBook Pro and decided to make it my main machine since it connects nicely to the new LED screen (I also have a MacBook Air which I use when visiting clients and for traveling so keeping three machines in sync was getting a bit ridiculous).

I'm absolutely loving the cinema display. It's amazing how much more screen real estate I seem to have compared to my previous setup which consisted of a 20" iMac and a 20" HP monitor.

The only thing I don't like about the cinema display is the sound quality. The speakers are pretty horrible to say the least, hence my external speakers tucked behind.

We just upgraded our computers at work - new 17" Macbook Pros and 24" Cinema Displays... Sooo sooo sweeeeeet!

man i love those speakers thinking about getting them. are they connected to a DAC or just the onboard sound of the MacBook Pro/ they would benefit largely on an external DAC, youll get better bass and a warmer sound.

Thanks. Another thing that I think could improve the monitor is the length of the cable with the magsafe, usb and minidisplay connections. While it definitely works in my configuration, it's a bit shorter than it should be.
