man i love those speakers thinking about getting them. are they connected to a DAC or just the onboard sound of the MacBook Pro/ they would benefit largely on an external DAC, youll get better bass and a warmer sound.

They're definitely fantastic especially for their price. It's not connected to a DAC yet as I'm still contemplating which one to get...leaning towards a dacmagic though.

Under construction...

New Mini on the left with the left screen.

Old Mini on the right with the right screen.

Soon, I will clean it all up, and both screens will be on the new Mini.

The left one is installing XP in to VMware since there are still some things that Microsoft is far superior at like Office 2007.

The right one is reinstalling Leopard very slowly.

Do you use the tablet as a mouse? How does that work? Is it like using a trackpad on a laptop?

yeah. it comes with a regular mouse, too. but, i've gotten used to the pen mouse. the pen mouse and trackpad have to be used together, like you do with your finger and laptop trackpad, for example. but, that's where the similarities end. it's better than a laptop trackpad, i would say, even in general uses. of course, the pen mouse has some advantages and disadvantages. photo-editing with a pen tablet, drawing (duh), and even video editing is more fun, to me, hence the name "Bamboo Fun Tablet.' Lol.

the only time i feel encumbered by the pen mouse is playing computer games, which shouldn't be a surprise since most games, if not all, are not designed to be used with a pen mouse. but, generally, the pen mouse is a lot of fun. it takes away the computerness of a computer, if that makes any sense, by letting you interact w/ something most people learned how to play with since they were a wee-wee child. Lol.

OHH MY GOD.
OHH MY GOOD LORD.

OHH MY GOD I SAW SOMETHING I LIKE.

I SEE TWILIGHT SAGA BOOKS ON YOUR BOOKSHELF

OHH MY GOD I LOVE TWILIGHT.

Okay, LOL.. That was melodramatic:p

(I still LOVE Twilight)

 Calm yourself kid!

My humble little setup

Not pictured is the PowerMac G4 downstairs as a family computer. But here are all of mine.

First picture is my iMac 20"..Specs are in the signature. Bought this thing with only 1GB of RAM new from Apple, but upgraded it myself to 2GB. This is my main computer, and where most of my freelance work begins. I edit movies, and web design using this computer.

Second picture is my eMac 17" 800Mhz, Superdrive, and hooked up to that HP all in one you see there. That particular all in one is shared to my iMac and the MacBook. This computer I use strictly for school work, surfing the internet, and using it whenever the iMac is busy doing other things.

Third is my Mobile workhorse, my oldie but goodie 3 year old White MacBook 2.0Ghz, Leopard, 1GB of RAM. This I use mainly when I am on the road, and when I am in bed.

These pictures were taken using an iPhone first generation, even though you can see the iPhone 3G sitting in the eMac shot..doh should have used that, oh well :D

Just started unpacking and trying to hook things up from my move. Need a larger desk, may go for a Ikea Galant with a turn or just buy another desk like I have. I need more workspace. Also on the lookout for another 23" ACD.
