Pure genius! However, when I try to order I keep getting "PayPal Express transaction could not complete successfully." so I wanted to send them an e-mail for help, and whatever phone number I put in the request form, it says it's invalid. Pff how's that for bad luck. Ah well...

i have had no response from the "official" site and had been emailing them for over a month and got sick of waiting to hear back from them

anyway, i got one from here the other day

http://eshop.macsales.com/item/QMS/MACPADD/

arrived in australia in less than a week too....

You're in 7th grade? I had a similar setup when I was your age, except it consisted of an iMac and an iPhone 2G.

Seriously? Have things changed THAT much since I was in 7th grade?

I'm 22, and back in 7th grade my setup consisted of 3 bull frogs caught at the local pond, a bucket full of Super Soakers, and I believe there was a Gameboy with Pokemon Yellow in there somewhere.

I can not even imagine having the need for a computer back then.

LOL! I know what you mean. I'm 22 and I don't even know what I would've done with an cellphone let alone an iPhone.

Ehh, I didn't actually use the iPhone as a cell phone, just as an iPod touch. I got it before the touch came out. I didn't have a cell phone back then.

I had a BBS when I was in 7th grade and was exploring the innerworkings of my Amiga through assembly language and C programming... I'm 34...different hobbies for different folks, my big one was electronics,I had a computer of some sort since I was 4.

I'm 22, as well, and my only toys in 7th grade were dogs, cows, horses, tractors, and guns. The life of a farm girl...
(me mum had a mac, though.)

First off, my apartment is far from finished, but it's getting somewhere. However, I'm very pleased with it and it's cosy :)

I did my best to shoot some decent pictures but not only do I have some cheap ass Exilim point and shoot digicam, also my photoshootingskills are ehhh nonexistent. Sorry 'bout that. It really does look a lot better in real :)

The last picture is of my Pax wardrobe I hacked a dioder in the top shelf. (I just had to)

Mind telling me what that is on the table beneath the TV, to the left in the pic?

It's my custom build HTPC, the case is from M-Cubed, called the HFX Classic. When I bought it back in 2005 they had only 1 model and it was simply called HFX. I was actually one of their very first customers :)
It's 100% passively cooled, and is inaudible.

I can not even imagine having the need for a computer back then.

I use it mainly for fixing my parents' friends computers ( Thats what the EIDE and SATA harddrive enclosures are for ) and developing websites, applications and scripts.

When I was in 7th grade...

I had an Apple II+, 12" monochrome green screen, 2x 5.25" FDDs and an Epson wide-carriage 9pin dot matrix printer.

Bard's Tale
Ultima III
Wasteland
Archon
Etc.

I don't think I'd ever seen a cow or a horse in person, certainly not a tractor nor a gun. Although my dad was a B-52 pilot, so I saw the other end of the destructive scale frequently.

What?

Damn if only i had a camera to post my setup, i just got an iMac G3, and a PowerMac G4 to go along with my 2009 Mac Mini and tomorrow morning I am getting a PowerMac G3.

I really would love to do something with my PowerMac G4. I don't know what I could use it for that I would actually have use for. It has pretty low specs, too... but it's pretty ;)

New around here, just thought i'd share my setup.

Everything on the desk is less than a month old, the laptop wallpaper explains it all.

Nice setup azboricua!

Have you thought about moving the dock and Menu to the larger screen? That is how I have mine setup, but whatever works for you.
Enjoy the Mac! :)

This is mine...sorry for the poor lighting :(

2006 Macbook, 2.0Ghz, 2GB RAM, 320GB HD. 24" HP LP2475w monitor. 500GB MyBook. Xbox 360. Amplifier for speakers.
It still chugs along taking everything I throw at it, so I hope it lasts till I finish uni!
