Does anyone have a nice setup like this? Im not bragging, i would just love to see NICE setups. Its not much fun looking at macbooks on ikea desks. Not that there is anything wrong with it, having a mac alone is of course something to be proud of. I'm not happy with were the pro is sitting. I am considering moving it on the desk, or getting cable extensions to get it out of the way. I use PLEX on the Mini, and stream my movies to it. Plex rocks!

Office:
Mac Pro 8 Core 2.8 Ghz, 6gb ram, 5Tb Total HD, 2 ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT, Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-112D & 116D. Might Mouse, and Apple Bluetooth Full Qwerty Keyboard.
Macbook 2ghz Core 2 Duo, 4gb Ram, 160gb HD (Soon to be upgraded)
Samsung Syncmaster T240 24" LCD
ViewSonic 22" W/ Ipod / Iphone Base
40" Samsung LCD TV 1080p (Too lazy to get up to find the model, only 1 day old)
Bose Computer Speakers
Airport Extreme
Sony PS3
Iphone 3G 8Gb (With Latest Jawbone)
Ipod Touch 2nd gen 32Gb (Its Not an ITouch hahahahah n00bs)
Aastra Voip Phone
Xbox 360 (Not in picture, but will hook it up tomorrow)
B.F.U.D!!! (Stands for Big Friggn U Desk)

Living room:
Samsung 50" DLP 720p
Mac Mini 2ghz core 2 duo, 2 gb ram, 250 Gb hard drive. Apple mini bluetooth Keyboard, Might Mouse.

Oh yeah, and Snow Leopard on all.

How do you like that chair? I was looking at it last week when that had it for 50% off, but it was just too hard for me.

I had a really soft chair before this and i found myself slouching more and putting me to sleep. I'm a film editor and i have a lot of 5 minute renders to see stuff so i needed a medium comfort chair or else I would be slouching like crazy. So it works for me, but by all means go try the chairs out and buy one that suits you personally. Chairs are kind of a thing you can't go off someone's word, just gotta find what fits you best. :) Best of luck to you!

Says you. How nice a setup looks is a matter of perception. For instance, I don't like anything about your setup except for your Mac Pro. That's the only nice thing about it, in my opinion. :)

x3 here, His setup to me is wayy too busy, to me my 22" screen with my macbook under is all I need. I don't need 4 monitors.

Didn't mean to brag, but he did.

Clean, uncluttered, and comfortable.

For the record, I think your setup is "nicer"!

And Brokenframe there ARE definitely some truly outrageous, well thought-out setups. You might have to be active more often to see them though. I see that your previous post was your first. This is the 79th page of the 9th part of this thread. There have been hundreds (if not thousands) of setups posted. I'm sure you can at least several that even you think best yours, rest assured.

Are you ****ing kidding me?
Your equipment is decent but your setup itself is garbage.
You trashed Ikea desks but then you have a desk with 2 unmatching monitors and an HDTV that appears to be hooked up to your computer.

Fail.

You are not bragging, and there is no need for bragging with this 80ies style carpet floor and the puke colored wall. You have nice computers though.

Apart from that, some photography skills make the macbook on the ikea desk in the first post on this page look really interesting.

Failing to stop down a lens is pretty much the opposite of photography skills.
Normally I wouldn't say anything, but if someone with a setup as ugly as that is as arrogant as he is...

It's kind of lame everyone felt the need to take a dump on Brokenframe's setup. There's nothing wrong with it, if he likes it.
He did give universal criticism to the vast majority of setups posted here.
