I sooo want to play Flight Simulator on your setup. :p

Lol, that would be pretty neat.

Updated my work office setup. It was my two year anniversary so my boss got me a new computer :).

Dual 2.26 Quad Core Xeon Nehalem Mac Pro w/ 12GB RAM & 2TB Hard Drive Space
3 24" Dell G2410 Monitors (1920x1080 times 3)
Bose Companion 2 Speakers
Logitech Quickcam Pro

Not pictured is a 15" Unibody Macbook Pro and Bose Quiet Comfort 3 headphones.

On another note, does anyone know of a good, decent looking Mac Pro stand that is large enough? As you can see from the picture the one that hangs the computer from the desk wouldn't work for me.

Try looking at Ikea, they have some good quality stuff, and most of their ads have a Mac of some sort in it. Also, i'm being a spelling nazi here but in your quoted post its "Xeon", not "Zeon".

That is awesome - I love dual monitors - I can only image 3!

Very clean, I like how the picture above your monitors is a 3 piece pano and matches the look of your three monitors.

Very nice setups everyone, I wonder what monitor sizes you guys usually use with your setups?

I am getting a monitor for my 13" Macbook today, will be used on a small desk, also will connect my ps3 and satellite TV maybe to it.

I would like a size that would be comfortable both ways, any suggestions?

I don't mean to be too nosy, but what type of work do you do? Jealous of the triple display setup; truly looks great! Your desk and setup looks so neat and orderly. I'd say you have a great boss, too! lol

My current setup, sorry for bad camera quality. Have gone through every Mac in Apple's lineup buying and selling on Craigslist since 2007, this is my setup since last month.

Can anyone tell me about the dog ? It's the second one I've seen so far in this thread, albeit a different colour. What is it and where can I get one ?

Many thanks.

I'd like to know too.
though they do look very "ikea" I wonder if they stock them.
oddly my local co-op bank has these everywhere inside, in various colours and sizes

A spelling "Nazi" would have also capitalized the word-- Nazi, as it is a proper noun. Just saying. 0.o

I am really digging all of the sweet Mac Pro setups as well. I need to upgrade. I never even undock my system anymore. My Macbook is always on life support (i.e. every port has something plugged into it; monitor, keyboard, speakers, etc.). I think I may have outgrown laptops. ><

The only reason the desk is so clean is because of the picture. I just got everything setup Friday, normally it is pretty messy. However, I typically try to make a point of cleaning up at the end of each week. I try to enter everything that is still on note pads or sticky notes into Things and scan anything in that doesn't need to be on paper. I have things and my unfiled scans folder synced up with my home computer and laptop so it allows me to organize it all over the weekend from home (or wherever I am) when I have some free time.

What do I do? I develop web applications for use internally, manage my company's (not my, just work for them) ERP, and manage basically every piece of tech and software involved in all of our operations.

I always have virtual machines for XP (ERP, SQL Management Studio, etc.) and Server 2003 (development SQL server mainly) up and occasionally open up a Linux or Vista (and more recently 7) VM for testing.

The funny things about it is that having three triple monitors isn't that costly. I got a great deal on the monitor arms (because my company sells them) and the monitors are only $300/each. I'm not saying that $300 isn't a lot, just saying that $300 for an extra monitor that will last 3+ years isn't bad at all considering the productivity boost it gives me. An extra video card for the mac pro was $150 from apple (if you went somewhere else it would probably be cheaper). So all said and done it was $1050 for the monitors and card and then the cost of the arms (which aren't that bad assuming you buy online at places other than best buy, $30 for cheap ones or $50-$60 for decent ones). When you consider the cost of the mac pro being $4k, a little over $1k for the monitors is a no brainer. That being said I don't do photography or anything with video so color doesn't matter to me, as long as the syntax coloring looks good all is well for me. If you needed monitors with accurate color then the cost would be significantly higher. I do think the panel on my last iMac was a lot better than the dell monitors, but I wasn't about to spend $900 x 3 for cinema displays. I can see spending that for one but without needing high quality panels (or three webcams, three set of speakers, and three USB hubs) I can't justify that.
