I believe he meant KVM, which is a switch to use two computers with one keyboard, mouse and monitor....link

Thanks for the info. I tried to get one before I got my pc.
but I could not find a cheap one that would work with the cinema display and a pc.

RAID 0 is as trusty as having one drive.

Actually it is twice as risky as one drive. If the possibility of one drive dying is p, then having two drives, the possibility of one of them dying is 2*p. And with RAID 0, it takes just one dead drive to loose all the data.

As for the phone, my cordless died, and the GE was $20 with CID. I may look for a phone with a more Apple look. The BeoCon 1 is sharp, but probably costs a fortune.

Well, it's just that most of the other stuff on your desk looks cool ;) Actually the beocom 1401 doesn't cost a fortune, but some of the others do.

Go Seahawks

Nice setup but go stealers :)

Ok, reading this thread inspired me to post new pictures of my setups. I also now have a PowerBook (which I purchased off a member here - Sweetfeld28 just last week) now:

Here's my main machine, a 17"iMac G4. This machine has all my music, files, and sees use everyday by me. My mother uses it to check e-mail and browse the web at times.

Here's my G3 iMac, which is basically my Dad's computer now... He uses it for e-mail, playing games, and word processing. Because it's in my basement, my friends and I use this when people are over. Aside of the G3 is my old PowerMac, which I actually still use to play my vintage Mac games.

This is my new (to me) TiBook. It's a 400MHz machine (but feels much faster) that I will be using for school notes and on the go web needs. I have it set up in my room when I'm at home, and I'm using an old ApplePro keyboard and my G4's old ProMouse (replaced on the G4 with a Tablet). The TiBook has AirPort, so all music and files can be streamed over to my room from the G4.

Finally, there's an iHome dock/raido in my room, which is where my 20GB iPod usually sits when not in use.

The photo of the powerbook with the lid semi-closed looks really nice, Plymouthbreezer!

My PB and my workstation (XP)

And my PB and my media center (XP)

Got a switch box ;)

Nice setup you got there. I also love the lamp to the left, where did you get it?:)

Yeah, it is a cool picture.

A few nights ago, my friend Lindsey was using it... The entire room was dark, 'cept for the glowing apple on the TiBook's lid, and her face - illuminated by the screen. I wish I got a picture.

wow Plymouthbreezer you have very nice things. Lucky you.
Thanks! All my friends do get envious of the Macs. And considering I'm only 16, I think I'm off to a good start. :D

I love a clean, good condition TiBook. Nice setup!
It's amazing. Owning a PowerBook does kinda make you part of some elite group it feels. Any place you bring it, people look and go, "Wow, that's SO amazing!" Little do most people know that my particular model is about 5 years old. Goes to show you the real quality of Apple's older stuff.

Whats the plastic clips on the edge of the desk, they addons or part of the desk? Would like to get something like that for my glass tables that way it doesn't look like I've got a grand canyon in the center.
Those are actually the side supports for the entire desk. In between the two metal posts are cross bars with suction cups that hold the glass up. It's part of the desk.

My setup

As per signature -

20" 1.8GHz iMac G5 rev.A
15" 1.67GHz PowerBook

Not my full setup, but the most interesting parts :D
