markkk! said:Well we have many organic stores. There are a lot of diverse people here. It's REALLY hard for me though, because I don't have sugar, if it's organic or not. It's hard to get anything that doesn't have sugar, meat, or artifical flavors in it. ugh. Life (my eating life) is SOOO hard. haha, but whateever keeps me healthyI just don't want to be a fat american. (im american...)
livingfortoday said:Yeah, I eat WAY too much refined sugar, but I'm cutting that down (or at least trying to). I only have one store close to me that has any organic food, and it's ridiculously overpriced.
markkk! said:ugh I know, it costs money either way...
If you eat organic, you pay for the food ($600 a month for ONE person)
If you eat unhealthy, you pay for ... doctor visits?
livingfortoday said:Well, at least you're doing something good for yourself, and good for the environment. Plus, if more people did it, it'd be cheaper for all!

Be careful with that drive enclosure, I had one like it and the heat from the drive killed it.iDuck said:Here's my desk..Everything less the mini and keyboard were left over from various other systems I've disposed of.

Little Jimmy = Mac mini (Core Solo) - 1.5ghz / 512mb / 60gb
Louis = iPod nano (black) - 80 mhz / 32mb / 2gb
This enclosure was bought last year and hast a heat switch (kills drive power if heat goes above 50*C I think??), but my friend has one that's two-three years old and it died on him. I didn't shut this one too tightly either, so heat doesn't have to much trouble escaping.Be careful with that drive enclosure, I had one like it and the heat from the drive killed it.
Glad I got someone hooked on a mini.. It's really a great machine.My god I want a mac mini now if only I could sell my other PC

Well if it came with a drive in it you should be fine. Mine was just an enclosure that I put my own drive in (a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 8 ATA). I when it was running I could hold the outside of the case for more then a minute but the drive inside I couldn't hold for more then a few seconds with out getting burnt. If you're really worried about it you can run it without the lid on it. Luckily for me all I had on the drive was some source code which could easily be replaced.Platform said:Woo...I have one VERY similar to that one..how hot..I can hold on to mine fine, I feel the heat but nothing that is unpleasnt.
It's a 300GB seagate drive, with a lot of Data...tell me what should I do or is mine OK?
Thanks
