Wow. I love the clean look of the whole setup. Easily one of my favorite setups that isn't filled with $10K worth of computers. Very nice.

Did the desk come with that "block lift," or is that just a simple piece of wood that you placed there.

My finalized setup, just got my new 2007wfp to go with my new 20" iMac Core 2 Duo. My first Mac, coming up on a week with it, and I love it! My only regret is that I still have to deal with my PC laptop. Macbook one day!

Shown, left to right: 12.1" Dell 700m (not too bad as far as PC laptops go), Mighty Mouse on the 700m, Dell 2007wfp, 20" iMac Core 2 Duo, standard Apple keyboard, 30GB 5G black video iPod, BlackBerry 8700c (Cingular), Logitech bluetooth MX1000 laser mouse from the MX5000 desktop set on an Allsop Metal mousepad, Logitech Z-5500 speaker control center.

Sorry that the second shot's a little blurry. My camera sucks. Oldest piece of technology I own; Canon Digital Elph S110 2.1MP, cost $450 in 2001

I think that desk is one of those Ikea table tops that you can pick and match with table legs. If so, i'd assume the block of wood came from something else as it doesn't come with the table : ) possibly came with something else from Ikea too??

very nicely done :)

looks like a chopping board.

To everyone that responded, thanks for the compliments on the setup.

The desk is from IKEA, as is the "block". The "block" is from a coffee table that is the same finish as the desk. The desk cost $110 CDN, and the coffee table top $20 CDN. It doesn't put the MBP at eye level, but still a nice little attractive looking boost.

The IKEA mouse pad, I bought 20 of them. For $1 something a piece I can afford to chuck it when they get too dirty from my wrists.

The phone is indeed a LG Chocolate KG800. YOu can check out more pics on my Flickr set of it:

It doesn't just look good, the call quality is just perfect.

Very tasty setup mrogers! I noticed the MX1000 is getting so popular around here :D

Love that matt, Arip.

Yeah, I also noticed. I couldn't justify spending around £60 on a mouse, however nice. I have a £20 Wired IntelliMouse from Microshaft and its the best mouse ive ever owned, had it about 3 years now... Think its time for a wireless one tho.
