The A4 looks wider than it does in brochures, it looks more like the A5 wide. I've got the A5 wide and that is a perfect fit. It's big, but not too big.

Ya it does. I wanted to get the A3, but I'm glad I did not and got A4 instead. Its big enough as it is.

Its not the best picture (taken with my phone), but it'll do. If you couldn't tell, thats my G4 cube - highly upgraded too! I'm never selling that thing, NEVER!

What are the specs?

My main concern was to keep it at silent as possible, just like it was meant to be. Thus, all my upgrades were tailored to that.

600mhz 7410 G4 (runs faster and cooler than the stock 7400 G4's)
80gb Seagate Barracuda
1.5gb ram maxed
Radeon 9200 128mb passive cooled (soon to be a Geforce 6200)
Airport card
8x Dual Layer Superdrive

Despite is slow speed, its still quite zippy. And best of all, its silent! Even in the dead of night its almost inaudible.

Oh, and I can't forget the beautiful SGI 17" widescreen display that I picked up for only $50 :)

Well, I got one of the Speck SeeThru for MBP cases...

thanks for the pics marissaaa - I wonder how durable that surface is? (looks great btw). I was toying with the idea of getting one way back when I was still deciding between MBP/MB - and thought (to myself) that those covers 'may' just get scratched up too easily (meaning long term they will look not so good - unless you replace it). Better than scratching the MBP though - but how many will ppl really buy during the computers life?

Great looking product though, good looking machine marissaaa

Hey diotav...Nice setup. Is that the Galant workspace series from IKEA? If so, which combination...Seems like the right one on the pic. Also, how wide is the desk?

Thanks so much! The plastic is pretty thick but as far as getting scratched, I think you might be right. It'll probably develop those little hairline scratches that you can only see at a certain angle under the light. I haven't taken it out of the house yet so it's still immaculate. Smudges from my hands can be seen really easily though.

When are people who received their MPB Core 2 Duo going to start posting those? I wanna see them even though they look exaclty the same haha

Ok, thought it was high-time I added my current set-up to this thread. Should all be changing round in a month or so when I finally relent and purchase a MacPro!

Please excuse the quality of the photo - my office isn't exactly huge - had to stand in the cupboard to get this angle!

Do you have a link to that wallpaper?

For some reason, that display catches my eye. It seems like it belongs with the Cube. Nice setup. I love them Cubes.

Here's mine - 20" iMac (Intel rev. A), Wacom, wireless kb and mouse, iPod mini, iPod nano, and a glass of orange juice..... :p
