Old setup vs new setup. I like the new setup :D :apple:

That's one clean setup! How are you liking the Logitech keyboard? Too bad it doesn't come in black or else I'd get it...

You should get rid of the lappy and get a MBP :p , that way you'll still be able to get have the "aluminum" setup. I didn't know the WD HDs come in silver/aluminum, definitely matches your setup quite nicely.

not sure what samsung phone you see-i wish i could get a MBP but unfortunately I really do need a windows machie with me as several of my classes at school have software that only works on windows and i dont want to have to boot into it to do homework-as for the hard drive-its a model that has been discontiuned since i bought it-it was likley replaced by the drive sitting next to it

I also love the keyboard-logitech rules!

1. Yeah Rid yourself of the Inspirion. Keep a copy of the WinXP CD so you can install it on a MacBook. You dont need the top tier MB just one that can do most of the simplistic stuff you do on the Mac Pro while your mobile.

2. Rid yourself of the Palm AFTER a final sync. Get yourself a decent smartphone to replace it. Double duty on the smartphone that can iSync and be used as a modem for your Laptop (MB I mean).

3 Alternative, sell the Dell & the Zire and use it for upgrade to the 2.6Ghz Xeon or use for more RAM - apps - and maybe server fee's??

Hey koobcamuk, where are you from? I want to move to Japan also, just love the country but never been there  I'm really fascinated about the lifestyle. Just too tired of Europe hehe :D

I am from the UK! (Koobcam = MacBook - and the UK part... anyway!)

I went there for a month last year, am currently learning Japanese. I love it there. Europe is so boring. I am doing a Ph.D though, so I need to wait at least 2 and a half more years before going anywhere!!

I've been stalking this thread from the beginning and thought I may as well share my setup. Here's my primary one:

Thanks to the AirPort, I am usually wandering around the house and most often end up here:

That'll all end when I finally put my 12" PB to rest and get an iMac.

 That is sweet!

Nope. Applied invisible skin to both white and black Macbooks so they look shiny while protecting it :D . I no longer have the white Macbook as it didn't match my "all" black setup.

Don't tell me you got rid of your White Macbook and replaced it with a Black Macbook just because the 'colour coordination' wasn't right?

better picture

here's a picture i just took a few minutes ago. better light this time than the 2 am shot on the last page. just cleaned off the desk, but still have a bit of work to do, especially finding a new chair. hopefully, i'll have a finished setup by next weekend.

flip the photo 90 degrees...

(btw, how can you post the full size photo here without linking to a site instead of posting as an attachment?) thanks.

how do u like those speakers? they weren't too hard on the wallet, so i had a look at them, but i was thinking they might not sound so good, or not enough power? i don't think i saw on the box what the ratings (and i'm too lazy to look it u). How are you finding the quality of sound .. if you could compare it to something u've used in the past, that would be good too!

oh yeah, i absolutely loved that logitech cordless set, but the only problem i had was it wasn't bluetooth, and i didn't want to use an adapter with it :(
