Ok. After lurking around I figured I would post my home setup and car setup

Home: very simple easy to use do not care about the wires; just need to have the functionality:
Not included is the Nikon D50; JVC Everio; and the Nikon Coolpix S9

In the car setup: the trunk of my car is setup to be a mobile office for work.

I carry in the trunk a pelican case with my latop; the D-50; JVC Everio; and Nikon Coolpix S9.

I also have a Canon Pixma printer networked to a linksys wireless accesspoint which I get an internet connection using Verizon with it is also hard wired to my MDT in the front of the vehicle; I have my Motorola XTS-2500 portable 800 MHZ radio; Motorola Advisor II pager; full set of globe structural fire fighting gear; vehicle rescue gear; uniform shirt for when I have to do PR stuff on scene; lint brush (laugh but when ya need it its a god sent; two pelican cases with pre plans in it; and gloves.

In the back seat not pictured is a full set of Advanced life support gear and a Lifepack 12 monitor as well as another pelican case with the narcotics.

ha ha; im the Career Supervisor for a urban 911 ambulance company. My vehicle has everything I might need to treat a patient until one of my ambulances get there to transport; I only go out to calls if they are going to have a long ETA or where they might need some help / Incident Command

I want to trip off the curb around you my friend!

how do u like those speakers? they weren't too hard on the wallet, so i had a look at them, but i was thinking they might not sound so good, or not enough power? i don't think i saw on the box what the ratings (and i'm too lazy to look it u). How are you finding the quality of sound .. if you could compare it to something u've used in the past, that would be good too!

oh yeah, i absolutely loved that logitech cordless set, but the only problem i had was it wasn't bluetooth, and i didn't want to use an adapter with it :(

they are pretty powerful-i like them. I have never been a audiophile so as long as they sound good i am happy-untill i switched I had a 5.1 setup on my pc and I have yet get some for my mac-thought its mostly because I dont really want to get all the cables and such that I would need

Quick snap shot I just took of my setup.

MBP and Dell 2007WFP. It's so damn cool to be able to work on one screen with a full size movie on the other. Aperture is also amazing with it's dual screen capabilities. I was really excited after I hooked them up late last night.

I've had a few updates since I last posted. I have added the M-Audio StudioPro 3 speakers, really nice speakers for the price. I also added a Lacie external Lightscribe burner. At the far right is a digital picture frame my girlfriend got for christmas.

The iMac screen looks blue because I had my camera set to incandescent white balance, it made the rest of the room look better.

My desk actually is a L-Shape but my room didn't allow for it, but I was able to make it work without the bend. Maybe my next place will give me enough room. I have an M-Audio 88es keyboard that will fit perfect along the long part of the desk when I can make the desk full size.

Under my desk is the cat scratch post and a bed they like to sleep on.

^ Same desk as mine! I too had to use it in non-L configuration for awhile because of space constraints. It's been a great desk for the $50 it cost at Staples, but sometimes I wish it was sturdier.
