Hey, what kind of laptop is this? I know it's mac, but I think I had one when I was like, 8 or 9. It was stolen... :( I just remember it having a separate floppy drive and it had a track ball instead of a trackpad...

This is my setup so far, I only have one picture right now, I decided to just take a shot of everything instead of little shots of individuals. I still use a PC, but I absolutely love OSX. If it were not for a few games and how good it still works, it wouldn't be there! Anyway, here is the shot:

I'm 15, and I think this is as pretty clean as my desk gets, I wish I could have a super clean desk like some of the others. Oh, also, zerosnipe, I love your dual monitor/laptop contraption! I definitely want one of those!

At 15 you're living large. BlackBook, MBP, 24" screen, Blackberry.....?. When i was 15, i had a Gameboy and a swatch and that was it.

Why are you jealous? Get with the times, he isn't the only young person on this forum with a nice setup. When I was 15 I got my first PC (4 years ago) and my first cell 3 years ago. Now cell phones are standard for any kid who goes to school in a non-local area.

Sorry but if everybody keeps ranting like this, this is going to turn into what the "18 and younger: post your setup) thread became.

Just stop ranting and enjoy the pics

What was that the 80's?

Somewhere between Elvis and Britney

Erm, waay off base. Its not a rant, i actually admire the setup. I just couldn't help but think back to when i was 15 and how having Gameboy was the luxury thing then. Computers were rarely in houses let alone two or three.

Now, technology is cheaper and easier to access...allowing people to get their geek on. Don't mis-interprete the statement, making me sound like a grumpy 60 yr old.

Haha no hard feelings, I wasn't attacking you, I was just trying to back up TaylorB. I got my first gamebody when I was 5, and man did that thing entertain us for years. Sorry for sounding offensive.

Here is my new set up. The Slimline HP with the 19" screen is new. The first one is the newest setup. The second one (to the right) is the oldest

MacStyle.jpg

Don't have an updated setup pic yet, but just applied a MacStyle skin to my MacBook. I also tried applying a skin for the palm-rest/trackpad area but effed it up and pulled it off. There are a few tiny bubbles visible in the picture, but I got rid of most of them. Used the tip of a razor blade to poke holes in them and get rid of them.

I went with copper, and the Capricorn image.

i remember i was trying to play cs on my families old PII gateway, psh todays youth has it made

My enduring memory of childhood is trying to get Sim City 2000 running on a 386 DX/SX (can't remember which). My dad, bless him, knowing nothing about computers, went out and spent £200 on a brand new Pentium processor for an ancient machine which it obviously wasn't compatible with. The sight of a man who doesn't know how to change a printer cartridge trying to swap processors was worth the £200 alone! :p

Hello kitki83, the monitor on the left is LCD (unless you are talking about the BlackBook,) I'm not a big gamer, but I do use the monitors for building on Second Life. I build furniture, sell prefabs, and do many customs. I like being able to look at everything in detail, since thats what I'm all about. Its a nice excuse to have, and I just love computers.

And jordygreen its a 2407WFP (24) and the one on the left is an old Microtek 19"

You make money out of that? The game second life or just hardcore player who likes making online money?
