Spot on....I hate when people horde the money, and never plan to spend it. (Not that I'm saying don't save any, I'm currently not buy Xbox 360 because while I have the cash , if I want a iPhone, 10.5 and iWork(maybe iLife) I shouldn't buy the 360)
this is kinda random, but my advice is hold off on the 360, like youre doing, its not that great, I have one.

My first mac.
12" PowerBook

I was really waiting for the bump to core2duo in the macbook line, which was right around the corner at the time, but couldn't wait, I wanted to get as much as I could for the pb so I sold that and, got a 20" imac, and I figured I had 14 days to return the imac if the bump happened, and if it took longer I would be able to sell it and get my money back.

And about a week later, the bump in the macbook line happened, so I returned the imac, and left with the blackbook

But I really missed the screenspace, so finally got an external monitor, and am finally done.

monitor

Letters,
Is that Samsung monitor you have 26 in?....in the last photo is the blackbook hiding on top of the speaker?

Hey :D Now thats 2 people from neowin i know that i have seen post here :)
The zen has been my 2nd favourite mp3 player i have owned. It's amazing. 1st was my iRiver H340. I have an iPod nano 8gb now. Not that great to be honest, but it works nicely with my Mac and i dont have time to mess about with plug ins etc to get other brands working.

It's a little of both, indecisiveness and trying to be efficient....but I think this will keep me satisfied for a while.

MBM007,
That's the 23", I had to use the mini-dvi to vga to hook it up though...I tried using the hdmi port in the back of the tv and after trying it out, and some research on here, I found out that it won't work, and it's easier to just use the vga, and yup the blackbook is on top of the left speaker.

socks,
I really can't complain, for the price they're great...I don't have much experience with other monitors though, but they're definitely a step-up up from normal home audio stereo speakers.

I personally Love my Zen Micro, and dislike the iPod scroll wheel. Up and down is easier than around and around. ;)

It's never failed me, and the battery is user replaceable with little hassle. Great mp3 player for the money (6GB for 200 when I got it in 2004)

Just cleaned up and it all looks great from this view.

Then you look down here and wow.

I've tried everything to clean that mess up with twisty ties or hiding it behind boxes but I've just given up. :(
