This was mine during fall 2005.
- The G5 was a rev. A single proc. 1.8 Ghz that USPS smashed up pretty good in shipping (can't tell in this picture because it's partially hidden and propped against the desk).
- The ibook was a 12" 1.33 Ghz model.
- The display is a 20" ACD
- The top keyboard is :apple: BT and the bottom :apple: wired
- The mouse is a MS BT intellimouse, and
- The speakers are HK soundsticks, version 1.

I sold both the G5 and ibook. The 20" ACD, soundsticks, and BT keyboard are still in use (with my macbook), and my new mouse is a BT MM. Maybe I'll post a pic of that later. :)

Does anyone have a link to a pic of a wallmounted lcd that shows where the cords enter and exit the wall....I'm really thinking about doing a wall mount (32 in Samsung flat panel) & an arm mount (20in ACD), but I'm pretty clueless on how to go about running wires, etc...through the wall?
Does anyone know of an arm that would support my 32 in Samsung if I decide not to wall mount?

What thread would this be better posted to garner responses?

thanks

is that a hotel room you're in?

how'd you make the ipods have the apple wallpaper? linux?

I'm pretty sure he's just using the picture slideshow feature on the iPods.

Yep, I resized, and adjusted the brightness of the wallpaper using Photoshop, and displayed them using the slideshow feature. At it's native brightness, and even at the lowest brightness setting of the iPods, the wallpaper photographed as almost white. Thus the wallpaper had to be 'dimmed down' in order to photograph correctly.

Nice dorm room JackArc and you have a pretty good few of a palm out your window.

Thanks, I really like the view. You can even see the fireworks from Disney Land and the giant A from Edision Field (Angels) from my dorms parking structure. Its peaceful/a good working environment.

Hey is your logitech keyboard and mouse working alright? I had mine about a week before I returned mine.

its ok, but every now and then the mouse gets a bit funny, I'll left click and it's like it won't release the button...it does physically of course, but it will start draggin the icon around my desktop as if I left-click-dragged it
bit of a pain in the arse.

Here is my current setup:-

Wireless mighty mouse
60gb iPod Video

Okay, so its a mess, but it looks like i'm one of the few people here who use a mac for things other than Photoshop :p
Mid-way through a write-up for mah degree, hence the build up of literature and caffeine abuse...

P.O.S. PC for counter-strike purposes only these days.

New printer, after the last one caught fire :(

Moving house in a few months, got a nice little office-space marked out. Trip to Ikea to pick up a more sensible sized desk, and hopefully the setup will fit in a bit better with the dominant aesthetic here :D

Hey cool posters you mind taking pictures of them.

****, this is getting ridiculous, is it really that hard to remove the pictures when people quote, seriously.

I am so close to put up a website that explains how to use a forum but i should not have to because if people just used some common sense they would know it by now.

"Common sense isnt really that common"

No problem -

For all the scientists out there on macs:
feynman.jpg

Should probably put that in a more commanding place when I move.

Other posters linked here -
Bad Religion flag
Rage / Jenna
Rage flag / Kurt
Lars Frederiksen

Most of these aren't hugely representative of the music I'm listening too these days. Tom Waits posters are hard to come by :(

Got a nice John Coltrane one though, ready for the new place (GF says I'm not allowed _some_ of those posters up in our room when we move in - no prizes for guessing which! )

Some of my mac's

I love them, I'll digg out my others and post them:) :D

Is that 6 or 7 (there is one Black MacBook, one white, on iBook one 12'' PB, and either 2 or 3 MacBook Pros(atleast 2)

How can you need that many laptops? (Or are some of those no longer owned by you/some of them are family and friends?)

I own them all, I have a load more, since my first powerbook in May 16th 2003. I have owned approx 50+ apple laptops. I have also got a 17" MBP and then I have my wifes, collection that I have bought for her. I just like them to be honest. I only browse the web and listen to music, but just love my macs, so end up buying a new one every time they are updated.
