I've posted my setup a few times over the last months already, but after the apple hardware updates, it's now a furniture update:

What brand/model is it? I want one. It kind of just looks like an iPod, but I don't recognize the cable coming out of it (having never owned an iPod, I guess I wouldn't).

The enclosure is a cheapo Philips USB 2.0 ATA thing with an apple sticker on it, it has nothing to do with an iPod. The cable is the grey one, its a male USB-B to Male USB cable.

Hi everyone!! this is my Three year old HP Pavilion .. though its not a mac .. wanted to know what you all thought about it... will be soon switching to a macbook as soon as leopard is launched..

The setup:
creative 5.1 speakers
ipod nano 4gig
iomega 250 gig external hd(bottom right corner)
and a crappy adsl modem

Yup .. here is a pic of the desktop... I live in India and the problem here there are not many mac retailers . And those who sell macs charge a premium .. for example the 2. ghz white macbook retails here for around INR 78,000 which is like $1773 ..So plannin to get it from Singapore which i will be visiting in september.. So stuck with windows till then

I don't know if it would work for Vista, but FlyaKite OSX is a cool program for XP to make it look identical to OS X.

I recommend it for faux macs everywhere.

Windows ME?!? How!?

I had that on an old PC of mine, and it was by far the worst OS I have ever used. If you're gonna wait around, at least do yourself a favor and get a better OS while you're waiting. May I suggest Windows 95?

Did you get those all new? I only ask because that means you were getting very nice computers when you were very young.

I like your set up. How is the apple tv connected? I like how your desk has that bookshelf over it. But i'm sure it annoys you that you can push your monitor back
