Sold my Windows PCs, Mac Mini, Logitech QuickCam, Logitech 5.1 speakers, Saitek Eclipse keyboard, and replaced the smaller 160GB external hard drives with 3x 320GB drives (one of them is on the floor). The cables only stand out because of the glass desk.

Nice. What do you use your MacBook for? With all those hard drives I'm guessing video work or do you just have a large collection of data to store?

PS. can the Mobo & CPU still be sourced if yours go bad, even though extended warranty is long fulfilled?

No, not really. The CPU is soldered to the motherboard, so they come together. But TAM parts are VERY hard to find. I'm absolutely dying to get the "fat back" panel for mine so I can put PCI cards and a G3 upgrade in it. But I've never seen them for sale on eBay.

I finally got my Speck Products see-thru clear case from Amazon (It really isn't 2nd day air, it's 3rd day air  ). Well anyway here's a couple pics of the updated setup.

MacBook Pro CD 2.0GHz/2GB/80GB and my 60GB iPod Video is also shown in the picture.

I had to retake this shot 30 times (That's not exaggeration) to get it to look decent, I really need to get a tripod :p.

Is that the Speck clear case for your iPod as well? I'm curious because I just ordered a set for my 60gig iPod Video and I think it looks great in your shot.

I have a grey speck products case on my iPod, and I also think it looks great. As far as my friends know it's a limited edition grey iPod :p.

No video work I just have a lot of data. Almost all of it is my DVD collection backed up, and around 40GB of music from my pre-iTunes days. Also, some game backups, and over 10k images/photos downloaded from the internet. ;)

I only have a little over 300GB of data but wanted to mirror it on another drive for backup, and my brother sent me the 3rd drive for my birthday which i'm using for my iTunes and EyeTV libraries.

Very nice. I'll be posting my setup soon.

I'm interested to know if you have considered adding another gig
of ram to your MBP?

I've been looking at it, but my budget does not allow for it yet! If I could afford it, I would put it in.
However, when I run into any problems with performance, I think it is more the processor and hard drive (5400rpm) because I run a lot of digital synths / guitar amp simulations.
Besides, my page ins/outs ratio tends to be very low (right now after being on for 18 hours, its is 40004/347.
