No, but my grandmother did come over this weekend and thought it was horrible too! It's 1975 wallpaper and we hate it!

lol.... well I think I would choose to go Mac to. But dont buy another Mac until you redo that room. A Mac Doesnt deserve to live in there. ;) :)

So what turned you onto computer programming so early? Did you learn anything in school that helped motivate you or was this pursued on your own?

I wish my schools had classes on web dev. like they do today; it would have made my life a lot easier now. I wish i had a few macs when i was a kid as well ...

My dad is a mac user now, but the 80's were all about PCs. :(

Nice setup. :)

don't lie, no IT person has such a clean desk! lol

Heh, I literally just got this desk, and have a giant box of stuff waiting to be loaded into all of those nooks and crannies. You should have seen my old desk. It was facing the door, and with all my stuff on it, no one would ever know if I was there or not..over all the stuff.

Well, basically I always loved the idea of being able to make something that does what I want it to, whatever I want it to do. I just saw the possibilities as essentially endless. And there was nothing else ever like it.

Wow, it's quite a setup! Bit of a mixture of old and new there with the dark wooden grand desk and a silver PowerMac! Nice!

What a cool story. Keep up the good work buddy. You seem to be doing quite well!

My PC is finally gone! It just moved to my TV. Well, my iBook has all the space it needs. YAY! Hope you guys like it!

EDIT- Sorry. My pictures aren't staying right-side up. Sorry for the headaches!

.....and 2 ACD's. Nice setup what do you use it for.

HEH. The 2 dells are for my PC, the thir dell is for my file server, which I'm not sure I'm going going to leave it there or not. I sometimes catch myself trying to drag windows onto the third one, so I may hook it up to the PC. The 2 others are obviously for my g4, which I do a lot of print design with. I do web design, and I'm in the process of setting up my new office, so for the mean time I set it up this way
:)

Very Nice. I like the mixture of black and silver. I love the speakers too.

my powermac during a long backup session with a dvd-r 100 spindle. I was re-buring what I could get off old scratched dvd-r and also backing up a good 130gb or so. this powermac still serves a useful purpose after many years of service. I rock my mac mini most though..

Did you try calling maxtor??? I can't remember if my PSC came with a USB cable. Maybe I just used the one from my old Lexmark. FYI, most printers you buy dont come with cables. Oh andIf you ever buy a Video Camera... they dont come with firewire cables.
