iGary, congrats on the upgrade...did you sell off the two 20"s?
I love the setup, still the best looking setup I have ever seen

Yep, sold the second one tonight. :)

And yes, it is a Mighty Mouse - I love that thing.

Lacie now wants me to record the horrid noise this thing makes.

The noise on my 1TB BDE was so loud, the guy heard it when I was on the phone with him. I told him, do you hear that grinding crunching noise? He did.

Anyhow my problem is that they don't do advance replacement, so I have to get through ~850GB of work, and/or get through enough work that I can get it down to using Toast 7 for spanning-about-a-hundred-DVDs-to-back-up what I couldn't get to. Then I have to wait a couple of weeks before they send me a repaired, refurbished or new drive.

I wish they did advance replacement! If they were actually serious about being in the storage business, they would do that.

Somebody can't wait till blu-ray.

My crappy PC finally gave up the ghost, so I've just put my PowerBook on the desk and hooked it up to the monitor

I'm just going to keep it under my desk. Eff it. I don't have time to record things and create soundtracks for these asshats.

Here is an older pic of mine, although a lot has changed, it is one of my favorite photo.
15" PB 1.5GHz 2GB Ram
iCurve
Creature II (been moved)
Altec Lansing FX
iPod mini 2G 4GB (I am an iPod "adder" and love to collect iPods, I have tons)
BT KB + Mouse
Much has changed, but I am re-doing my office at the moment so no updated pics just yet, will have them soon. I'm also going to get the next update of PowerMacs so I will wait until everything is done to post a pic.
That's freakin' sweet!!! The colors are so coordinated!!

This is what I had up to about a month ago when it was replaced with an iMac G5:

Beautiful, what did you do with the G4?
And what are the specs of it?

That picture was used to sell it on eBay for a handsome sum.

Edit: By the way, it was a 17", 1.25 GHz, 768 MB, Superdrive model.
