can't you read the thread?

Easy killer, a repeat yes, but a legitimate comment. Not everyone has time to browse through all of the pages after all. Some of us have jobs we go to sometimes :p

Coolest dual screen layout. Ever.

Loving minimizing to the dock, especially from the top screen!

Sweet, that would be quite the sight to see a minimize all the way down. Nice dual, very unique layout ;)

I only have a Mac Mini

I only have a Mac Mini right know, It's a 1.42 Ghz PowerPc G4, 1 GB DDR SDRAM, ATI Radeon 9200 graphic card, and a SuperDrive. But planning on buying a PowerMac G5 Quad for christmas but i'm also hearing alot about Apple putting Intel's chips in there computer next year, I was wondering should I wait for intel version or go ahead and buy the updated PowerMac's now?

If you can swing a Quad PowerMac for Xmas, I would say go for it. I think the general consensus is that Intel chips will hit the consumer lineup before the pro lineup, so the current release of PMs should be quite current for a while, especially that new quad. Oh, I get all excited mentally and physically just thinking about it ;)

I say do it if you can, great computer me thinks. I know I would buy one, or two, if I had the money....but alas :(

Your setup is my dream setup. Especially the top tv/fcp program monitor, thats great (especially with that TiVo). I guess my iMac G5 with FCP will have to work for now though...not to derail...but, what exactly do you do? It looks like you do some sort of architechture/landscaping business.

Well, I do several things... I am an owner in a manufacturing company and I do alot of training videos for our products.
My first love has always been architectural design so still play with that on the side. I am designing my own home right now, (pictures on the wall). I also do video editing for friends and family just becuase I love to do it. I have just started dabling in some audio recording as well. Just wish I had more time........:)

Da....da.........DAAAAMMNNNN  *cleans massive drool puddle under feet*

Holy crap dude. I couldn't give a lick for video editting, but that setup is so clean and beautiful regardless of what you are doing. Throw in those awesome looking drawings, which you state will one day be your house (foot the bill for that too, looks expensive :p) and you are one smoking guy. Married? show them your computer setup and you will be  :D

I have a Dell xps gen intel pentium 4 processor 3.6GHz 800FSB, 2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533Mhz, 256 Nvidia GEforce 6800, Serial ATA RAID 0 with Dual 250GB hard drives. I had a dell's 19" inch monitor but sold it to get the Apple 23-inch cinema hd display but Once I get the Apple G5 quad, I will need to get other monitor for my Dell, is the dell 24 inch has better resolution than the 19 because i'm planning on buying the 24-inch soon. By the way I like your setup.

No I don't use Avid, I used Adobe Premeire Pro for a number of years but wouldn't even think of going back, I do love Final Cut Pro, Motion, and of course my G5.

Right now I still use the PC for all my Architectural design as my architectural program of choice is windows only and is VERY expensive. So I will just stick with it for...after all it does a god job.

I had dual 19" Samsung Syncmasters before the Dell's and I do have to say the 24" Dell's are a great buy. Built in card reader, USB ports, S-Video, Composite, Component, VGA, DVI inputs. Also has PIP, and PBP. Great picture!

Costs less than the 23" Apple displays. Although, I do like the look of the Apple displays personally.
