Nice setup - I like the Samsung TV too. How'd you like it? It's nice to see the prices of those things getting more reasonable!

Over VGA the TV is fantastic, it's super clear, even when sitting really close. The only niggles I have found are with other aspects, such as the rather selective PIP, the TV has built in DTV, but you can't view that over PIP, and when you select either of the scart sources, you can only viewHDMI in PIP. Whereas sometimes when playing games that don't need the full screen I like watching the news.

Apart from that minor niggle, it's a wonderful TV, and yes the prices are plummeting on these things, I got mine for £798, (though that was a bit of luck, as the online retailer had listed it wrong, as the DTV version normally costs £980, so I got a good discount there), but buying online is the best option, as high street retailers are selling this for £1100.

;)

here is my new setup, in all its glory: recieved this puppy on thursday the 1st, but the maxor 200GB hard drive causes kernel panics, 2 calls to apple later and still no resolve...and the HP PSC printer doesnt ship with a ******* USB cable !!! its so friggin annoying! i have had to buy another cable for the maxtor, to find it still doesnt work, then im gonna have to buy a new USB cable too!!!

AARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

sory about my mini rant, the powerbook actually performs like a dream whe the hard drive has nothing to do with it.

im loving it!

What about your second monitor?

Current will post when new pb and 20" display comes in.

curios can anyone guess the movie i was watching on my iBook?

12" iBook now reporting to duty.........

I have been itching to get this new 12" iBook for my travel use. I bought a 12" PB for this purpose but I am too protective of this PB as it is such a nice piece of computing art. I think iBook should be more sturdier and can take some bumps on the road of life.

Wow, that's really an impressive array of Macs and computer technology power there! 2 ACDs on that desk, eh?! How do you manage to use them all with such little space?! You got a PowerMac tucked in behind, along with the kitchen sink??!! ;) :p
Nice collection. :)

Is that smaller white keyboard on the lower shelf an alternative mac keyboard that i haven't seen before or a pc keyboard?
That's a Kensington Mac thin keyboard. It has the Mac key along with volume and other buttons. I did not install any driver as it just worked by plugging into the USB port on my PB.

All right, here is my new desk set up in my new apartment I just moved into on the first. This is by far my favorite set up I have ever had, I feel like i have so much desk area to do homework and such. I can't think of anything else I would want to add, and that is a weird feeling :).
