I noticed my old links died.

First - I love bowzers mini setup. It rocks! Very nice!

*wants a mini*
Do you ever work with your blinds open? What's the view like? Think you could take a shot with the blinds open, maybe at night? Those windows really open up that small-ish room.

They very rarely get opened. I do color correction work all day long.

Well, FINALLY MY SETUP! Any tips on how to make it look better?

Mac Setup

My first Mac was a Plus- little B/W display..
next was a AppleII CI
Then a Power Computing Clone
Power Mac G4 500
PowerBook G4 500
PowerBook G4 (1GHz, "17)
Mac Mini G4 (duh)
iMac "20 G5- with M-Audio Firewire 410, KRK monitors, M-Audio Keyboard.

I don't own a camera (yet), so I can't take any Pics of my desk, but it is overwrought with computer gear. I have my iMac, Mac Mini, AMD (FC4) system, and a old Intel system- all under, or on top of my desk.

I've posted my setup twice in a row and in both instances the post was removed by a moderator.

... WHY?

What Clayj said,

and,

Perhaps you had something not so good in the background, or on your screen? Something too personal that you shouldn't post?

I doubt it. Here's a link to where I submitted it on deviantART.

How do I take it up with one of the mods?

ok this is just an idea...

Move the PB to the left hand corner of the desk. Put all the Docks/USB hub on the right side of the PB near the end of the desk. Get ride of the mouse pad if possible and move the mouse to the right. Move the wires going down the middle to the the left side wood so they aren't visable. (Wire ties and a staple gun are very helpful :D ) then move the other things like tape, sharpener, lamp to the left side by the stapler.

I don't Know if this works for you, but I like to have usable desktop space and with the PB right in the middle you only have it on either side. I also don't like seeing wires, unless coming/going to the comp.

If you have the time and can work with your hands, I would strongly recommend putting together an iBook from parts off of other broken ibooks.

The one I am typing to you on currently cost me $330 to get running. Now with Maxed out memory , I am sitting at ~$400 invested into a fully functioning iBook G3 600 with airport.

here is a link to a post I did in regards to my build, and some tips on how to find things cheap on ebay.

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/145508/

Many thanks for the tips!

I've committed to the Cube G4; I've always loved the design! However it seems it will cost me more getting it piece by piece. Owners willing to sell this way think they'll get more -> right down to the single power button  However I will get either a 450/500Mhz G4; put in a 200GB HDD, and then up the video card to a Radeon - custom heat sync. Im also thinking of getting 2 spare shells. I saw a picture of a custom Black Shell that I just gotta try myself with pulsating blue Apple Logo! ;) My second Machine will be a either an iMac G5 17 2Ghz RevB -or- the Dual 1.8Ghz PowerMac G5 with PCI-X.

4 more weeks and the Cube will be mine, & photos will be here; via Nokia 6620.

Here is my setup with my brand new Dell 2405fpw!!
Now all I need is my rebel XT!!
