Post your best panorama

What's your best panaroma? Post it here!

I've been playing around with panoramas a bit and just made this one. I'm so happy with it I just had to share!

You'll have to visit wordmunger.com for a bigger version.

That's a superb pic!

Just thought I'd mention 'AutoStitch Panorama'. If you throw it the pitures for your panorama it will automatically sort them an stich them together. It's free, but unfortunately Windows only. You can get it here. Anyone know something similar for the Mac (that's free or nearly free).

Here's a panorama of the traffic in Ho Chi Minh City. Not the best photo in the world but it conveys the traffic situation quite well.

I like that pano a lot. I've got some but I'll try to whip a new one for this thread, especially since I haven't done one for a couple of weeks. Maybe this weekend when I go to Seoul.... :)

Thanks for the compliments, everyone, and thanks for the link to the other panorama thread.

I used Calico to make it -- very easy to use, but not free.

you guys got me interested..... pls post a link to a gimp tutorial to make one because iw ant to try my luck at it

thanks

i have a panorama of The town of Newquay in England, unfortunately i had it set on auto exposure and the colours don't match up very well and can't figure how to try and match them,

A very good (free) program I used is called DoubleTake. Awesome :D

http://echoone.com/doubletake/

i download double take, its not free its shareware with a little logo at the bottom of ur pics but u can get ride of that by makeing the fram of the pic bigger than your pciture so the logo goes on the white and not the picture than u crop it and remove the logo...

oo ya and heres my panorama i made like 3 minutes ago :p useing it

one sec it might be tooo big for photobucket i need to figure out how to resize it :p

Cottage Sunset

Taken from my boat on the lake at my cottage last month... It's a composite of (I think) 10 photos, 5 across and 2 high.

Canon 20D w/Sigma 24mm f/1.8
Stitched with Calico

Nice looking pano's! Even nicer looking females in your site's portfolio. I hope there are some fringe benefits included for you :p

wow. people actually look at my profile and my link.. :)

Thanks. but unfortunately, no fringe benefits :(

Taken in Toronto using 18 photos in a vertical (portrait) orientation. Click the image for more info. Taken using my wife's Digital Rebel with my Canon 70-200mm f/4 L lens.
It was actually too large (17940x2626) for Flickr to take it. That I've never seen. So there's a link to both the scaled down one and the fill one by clicking on the image.

Some of my better photos.

Hmm.. not my strong point, but I do have one or two scattered around my hard drive

Sunset near my house

Both taken with a Canon S1 IS and stitched in Photoshop. The beach pic is made of 3 pics and the sunset 8 or 9, don't remember
