This is my phone at the moment; a Motorola W375. Owned it for two years this June...probably the world's most laggiest phone if I say so myself.

Saving up for this phone though...Nokia 6500 Classic. Or perhaps an iPhone...hmmm...

My current phone is a green LG rumor from Virgin Mobile. It's a pre-paid phone that's replacing my old Samsung U510 phone, since I do alot of texting.

Is that Nokia phone for real? What model is it? *is drawn in by the greeny weirdness*

Got a 2G iPhone 8GB. We all know all about that. It is the phone I always wanted, easy to use, no lag, does a tonne of cool stuff, doesn't freeze, nice menu, internet, can actually text on it at above snail's pace etc etc It's bliss

Apart from the lack of mms :(

But before that I had a k800i

I used to buy all my phones for their camera (I know, they're technically all crap yadda yadda) and this one was awesome. I could also text on it semi fast (for me), it came up with smiley face pictures when I texted (which I still miss) but it was 3G.
The battery plummeted after a phonecall and that phonecall used to be made in multiple parts because of all the call drops. And the 3G refused to turn off and stay off, CRAP signal compared to my iPhone and all my friends' phones, then the speaker started going (had to hit the top of the phone to get it too work) and the joystick was giving up.
My sister has it (she's 15, likes photos and never makes phonecalls) and despite all the problems I still look at it semi longingly. It was a nice phone.

I currently have a Moto RAZR V3M.

So, not my current phone, but definitely my next one is the afore-mentioned iPhone 3G (or the next model possibly). Was just at the Apple Store in Victor, NY yest and it's the first I've fiddled around with the 3G. Time goes by from Apple Store Visit to Apple Store Visit and I forget how smoothly and fast they work..

..I want one. Badly.

The volume on the Slash wasn't loud enough, so I switched back to the one that I originally started with.

It will be interesting to see if Nokia will try to develop the AEON into a real cell phone.

You mean the Echelon Conspiracy phone? Well although its a prototype, Nokia does make the Saphire 88xx series for high quality materials.

Nokia does not make attractive phones. NEXT.

really? then you haven't seen any Virtu products have you then.

the E71 looks really good, wish i could upgrade to that from my E65 :(

Consider the E71-2; not the spliced down E71x.
Nokia USA has a price drop of $50 - including online purchases. If Windows Live Search still has that deal to purchase from their links to purchases then its possible you can get their cashback of 25-30% extra; IF its still on. Not limited to Nokia phones or phones at all for that matter.

If you liked the E65 - consider what the E71 has in the same form factor in the E66.
Same incredible calendar - especially when busy.
Motion-Sensor for landscape viewing.
GPS (A-GPS, or plain GPS with maps loaded and saved to MicroSD or internal memory: Nokia Maps, TomTom, Route66, etc; not Gmaps)
Metal & hard plastic construction and THIN!
WLAN with Enterprise WPA2 support (personal as well).

Here is the white version:

Home, Delete, Calendar, Messaging, and Phone Book buttons go clear in Standby Mode or when off; slick touch.

Big pic sorry.

Anyone looking forward to the Android by Samsung this summer?

Also curious ... iPhone users I have a question. How often do you use your phones 1 handed a day versus 2 handed? EVERY person I've seen using an iPhone or even iPod Touch is using them two handed? Usually 5 times a day I see this. This is leading me to think that navigation to use a particular application - not on the main screen, or reading an SMS, or typing a quick SMS, or playing a song or video cannot easily be done with one hand; but I'm sure its able to just not comfortable??

Most people have more dexterity in their index finger; I find that it's much more convenient to use two hands, one to hold the phone, and the other to point instead of one and using the thumb to navigate.

Fair Enough. I just thought going fully touch was a step forward - or equal as traditional slider or candybar numerical phones allow for thumb in 1 hand use. Maybe, just maybe if iPhone 3.0 is compelling enough - for my needs - I may give it a 1wk try using 1 hand + my double-jointed thumb. ;) .

I'm curious if in a future gen iPhone (say 4.0/5.0) we'll see some serious innovation - once tectile feedback advances significantly - so that voice navigation and textile feedback will help those whom are sight/hearing impaired??
