I'm liking the looks of the RIZR. Any signs of it coming to the US and Verizon?

On a separate note, have you guys seen the new BB 8800 that is supposedly coming out, looks very nice. It looks much thinner than my 8700. Anyone know anything else about it?

Xblroyal said:cell phones are horrible, they are unnecesary technology that gets in the way of everything. Their overpriced, cost fortunes for fees and monthly charges. People are constantly full of disrespect babbling away on the blasted machines. Heck I had one and I never used the damn thing 1 time. The world went on before cellphones, people actually had to have patience and the will to walk to a pay phone or home phone to make a call. All I'm saying is this, for you to join me in the truth, discard your cell phone and remove them from your lifestyle. They are not needed and area total waste of resorces and time in our nation today. FIGHT THE POWER, TOSS THE DAMN PHONE!!!

Prom1 said:@allexsimmons, I'm waiting till spring next year for the Nokia N95. Until then I'm going for the BOND K800 (hoping its in K790 trim for EDGE).
@crdean1;
> The 8700c although the case colour scheme is not my liking I prefer the 8700g from Tmobile its the same device; completely awesome mobile device.
@iMacZealot; I used to work for DDC/Tier2 group (outsourced) for Tmobile here in Toronto 2 yrs ago; AVOID the SK3 at ALL costs. Your better off going for the 8700g There's a LOT more you can do on it than the SK3; if you want a small device with MP3's GO FOR the BB PEARL 8100 > makes the SK3 useless. Trust me. btw, thanks for the wirelessimports link
@steve_hill4; goto www.esato.com the worlds LARGEST SE fan site. You'd be AMAZED at the night photos, and the objects in motion photos that the K800 can take especially flowing water.
> Feature's:
- Built in Blog for Flikr.
- Best PIC to take 9 rapid photos 4 before you fully press the photo button all the way down, and 4 after = you pic the best or save all (cant do all at once though).

- Timeline view by year/month for photos already saved.(memory card/phone).
- A2DP support for streaming MP3's over a compatible BT v2.0 Stereo Headset (ooh check out SE's best design of any on the market).
- BT v2.0+EDR best for streaming 3G data speeds using this as a modem for your Apple PowerBook/MacBook/MacBook Pro)

iMacZealot said:What's so wrong the the Sidekick? It has the camera, EDGE, MP3 player, all the stuff the pearl has, what's wrong with it?
timerollson said:With all the hype surrounding it, the SK3 seems like it would've been "new" 1-2 years ago. It has not made any significant improvements since the SK2. It's just a popular device among the high school crowd, imo.
iMacZealot said:It has made many improvements over the SK2:
- EDGE (compared to the II's GPRS)
- A 1.3 MP camera (compared to VGA
- Lighter
- smaller
- better design (in my opinion)
- MP3 Player
- space for add'l battery
- memory card slot
- Quadruple memory
- Ringer Profiles
- Bluetooth
- Flight Mode
And yes, I am a high school kid, and not only do I look cooler with one, but I like the keyboard of the SK over the SureType on the pearl. Although I think my dad's going to get the Pearl when we switch because it's a good phone for him (an 'adult' phone) and I hope he'll approve of my two phone idea as we're going to China, which is all 900 MHz, and the SK3 is missing that.
timerollson said:Yes, those are significant improvements, but nothing that hasn't already been in phones since last year.
iMacZealot said:I don't understand your point. Right now, pretty much every smartphone that T-Mobile sells have the same capabilites as one another. So, for the time being, there's no difference, although when they roll out UMTS next year, then yes, there will be a difference. (oh and I'm amped for the SK4 with UMTS)
timerollson said:That's what I'm saying. For something as widely popular as the Sidekick, I'd expect better features. That phone was JUST released this year. I was expecting way more from its initial launch.
iMacZealot said:But what more could they have put into it? UMTS is not out on T yet, and until then, there's not much else you can put onto a T-Smartphone.
