My Nokia i got for christmas. I love it.
Have the same phone and love it. So hackable, so fun. Though I haven't yet prioritized doing the whole SEEM OBEX thing on Windows, there's a bunch of tricks this phone can do regardless (especially if you have any size transflash card) - Wikipedia even has a page about it.the only semi-decent phone verizon offers
anyone have a BT headset they would recommend?
Trust me, if T-Mobile offered a little better reception in my area and our contract with Verizon was up, I'd jump on the Sidekick or the Pearl. I love me some mobile web goodness. Along with e-mail.I love my Sidekick!
But Blackberries are also $20, but sans the IM and text.
WM5 is $30, but why the hell would you want to support MS?
And EDGE is FAST.
I bet it turned heads. If I had the money, I would probably get the Sidekick 3 PrePaid to see what kind of signal I'd get.Yeah, I love the thing. I took it for a mall test a few days ago, and it turned so many heads! It was nice being able to e-mail one of my clients (clients? Sure! I'm only in high school, but I have a business!) <--- Sorry, one of my thoughts from my inner monologue.![]()
It was so nice having it yesterday when my internet was down! My sister iss so jealous of it!
Oh, and did I mention that there's a T-Mobile tower across the street? I LOVE THE THING!!!

Mall test? Head turner? It isn't as if the Sidekick 3 is the pinnacle of high-end cellular technology. Possibly you had something in your teeth and that's why you were turning heads? Now, if that same post were made in regards to the much rumored iPhone- I could possibly understand it. However as it stands, I'm slightly perplexed.

You know, I'd like to apologize about my behavior. I got into a really bad mood yesterday. I hope you accept. I think the Pearl is a great phone. Hell, my dad's probably going to get one tomorrow.
Speaking of which, my Samsung A670 snapped in half.Looks like another carrier bites the dust. I also don't trust Samsung anymore, as any Samsung our family's bought has had severe issues. My brother's and his girlfriend's A670s both snapped in half (but four months before mine did), my sister's A460 wouldn't make calls in our house, my other sister's VGA1000 had an atrocious paint job, my mom's A740 don't answer calls but delivers the voicemail....four hours later, and my brother's new A850 is falling apart as well! I hardly use my phone, and it breaking is totally inexccusable. I've crossed the t629 off my wish list!
I think what's going to happen is my mom's going to get me a Sidekick for Christmas, and in the meantime, I'm going to use our spare Samsung A840 on Sprint.
Yep, I've checked coverage at T-Mobile and they say I can get two bars. But then again, I live in the middle of lots and lots of trees. Looks like it's going to be Verizon for a while for me.@zflauaus:
I am currently developing video diaries for various record labels.
You can check your coverage at T-Mobile.com, and if you are crunched for money, you can easily find a Sidekick II on eBay, ofentimes under $100. It'd be well worth it.
My sister doesn't think I need one, but she keeps playing with it.I think she's jealous, even though she pretends to hate it.
I have the BlackBerry 8100 Pearl. I'll post a few pics of the 8100 with the numerous cases I had reviewed for including the BSE invisible skin:
Nice cases and choice but a little late in the game. Boy are you gonna be pissed in 3 months for a full qwerty Pearl with built in WiFi!
Pictures are already floating around of an actual prototype.

From Saturday, anyway. Looks like an ugly brick compared to some of the hi-tech stuff I've seen here.
