I'm waiting for the SCH-u740 to come to Sprint!

I would HAPPILY trade my Moto Q for this...

I have 2 friends that own that phone on Verizon.
I love the concept of the phone, but find the keyboard to be "meticulous". Like I still have to pay great attention to the keys I press.
Other than that, it's a really great phone and very innovative. Really freaks people out too.

What do you not like about the Q?

Here's Mine....

So I recently got my upgrade and as I'm a heavy user, I had my choice of any handset. I despise those big ugly Nokia's and those 'smart' phones. If I need a camera, I'll use my Nikon. Saying that, this does have a 3.2 MP camera - not too bad.

Put simply, I think this is the most sexy phone on the market today, and unlike the Prada doesn't feel ridiculously cheap in my hand.

The Samsung U600 Ultra Edition II:

Nice phone, but that Orange branding-icons on the Home Screen really kills it!
What is the video recording resolution, and formate (.3GP=H.263/H.264)?

Thanks.

I disagree actually. I think the Orange software and branding is the nicest and most subtle of all network providers here in the UK. But to each his own I guess. If I wanted, I could have the phone restored to Samsung factory defaults.

The max video res is 352 x 288 and it supports MPEG and H.263 possibly more.

Branding - each to his own agreed. I also agree its the most SUBTLE Orange branding I've seen; but on PPC-PE phones especially those launched last year it was too brazen.

Video recording sounds VERY nice; mpeg4 most likely.
A2DP?

I also have the U600 here in the U.K on O2 contract!

It truely is beautiful. . . . the good thing about O2 is that I have NO BRANDING what-so-ever :D The box it comes in is purely Samsung based just as if purchased Sim Free.

Lovely phone.

Disco Dave Your U600 is different from mine.

Mine just has "i" as the center key instead of "OK/i". Pretty wierd stuff

Here'e mine complete with menu.

i have a nokia 6300, and for me this is the 'ideal' phone that i've been wanting for the last couple of years.

Radio, Mp3 playback, with easy to use menus and a nice editable GUI, no cheap plastic but good stainless steel body (iphone? ipod?).

and the two MOST important factors:
Size: one of the thinnest phones from nokia, measuring at 12mm at the keypad
Screen: 16.7 million colours 240x320 TFT screen, the pixels are so tightly packes that i can not tell them apart with naked eye. :D

and last but not least, very very affordable .. and extremely sophisticated.

It's a bit old but it does the job and has a memory card slot so I never run out of space on it.

Just found out my contract had expired since Apr 3rd and i can either pickup a new phone (extending my contract) or cancel my contract/switch carriers. iPhone won't be here till Oct and i'm not even sure i want the darn thing leaving out the fact that it'll probably cost a fortune. Dunno....

Suggestions for good phones currently out there in the UK?

Sony Ericsson K810i.

Sony Ericsson K810i.

THey say navigation on that one is not the easiest thing to do and the only thing it has going for it is the Camera. In fact, they suggest getting the older K800 instead.

Samsung U600. Stay away from the LG Prada.

lol. Dont worry about that, i wouldn't use a prada even if i was given one for free. Will check the U600 out.

Some of the newer Sony Ericssons are also very nice. I can vouch for their build quality also. My last Sony Ericsson lasted me two and half years before I upgraded to my latest handset. It still works perfectly and lasts for days on a single charge after 2.5 years of heavy use.

!!!!!!!!!!!

IT IS AMAZING!BETTER THAN THE iPHONE HAHAHHA

Hmmm, my carrier has had this phone for a while now, i think early may and its a free upgrade if i wanted BUT it doesn't have 3G or WiFi and since EDGE support here is next to non existent here, that practically means no connection to the internet whatsoever. Major deal breaker.

Its a great blackberry....just not practical for me.

Enjoy
