Ive had phone for just over a week now and it is a great phone it a big step up from my old samsung,
camera is really good, surfing the net via wi-fi is good and fast i haven't tried it via 3g my only gripe
is the mp3 player it looks great and works well but it doesn't allow you to play folders of music it breaks
folders down into albums but there a few alternative mp3 players which are cool.

hope that helps another questions feel free to ask

Blackberry Curve 8310.

I'm going to cancel and sell one of my white 3G iPhones now. Just got bored with the iPhone and wanted something else to use occasionally as well. Still love the iPhone though.

As if! I love sony, as for windows mobile il let u know when iv used it for more than 4 days but so far its great :) Least it isnt the c902 which was a bloody nightmare...

Sony are good at everything except phones. I have a collection of phones, all the Sony Ericssons in that collection are broken in some say, where as the Nokias and even a Motorola still work fine! Sony Ericsson make phones that are fun for a few minutes until you get tired of a crappy video editor and flashy cameras, then you will be able to use it for a few months before the thing starts falling apart.

Don't even get me started on anything made by Micro$oft.

sounds like uv had a bad experience, tht sucks. Every sony phone iv ever had still works perfect :) motorola sucks, i HATE those phones! I'm the kind of person tht gets a new phone pretty frequently but the only phones iv ever gone back to again and again is my sony k800i (tht thing lasted 2 days on a bars rooftop terrace and i got it back and it still worked perfectly!) and a nokia. Got to say i wasn't too sure about windows mobile when i got it but its been great so far so no complaints there from my experiences. Was thinking abt getting the iphone but it was just missing too much for me :(

All the Sony Ericssons I ever bought are now broken... Thats about 7 phones... I got a W800i, D750i, V800i, 2 T300s, and a few more. The most recent thing to happen is with the V800i, which after working fine for months has suddenly stopped getting signal, no matter how many times a mess with the SIM or reset it. Thing is I have some very old Ericsson phones (before Sony bought them out) and they work fine!

Motorola do suck, a lot. However, my A835 works a lot better than my Sony Ericssons.

My new Sony Xperia, loving it so far :)

You'll love it better with HTC's TouchFlo 3D on it - and yes its possible (check esato.com's major 'official' thread on this phone). However you should've waited until the X1a debuted for better 3G support. Battery life is good on X1 but not better than my E71-2. Also install the SPB Shell and show it to PowerFullMac - he may change his tune about WM ... I almost did (even after the sour taste that the Q9h left in my hands.

Best phone ever...

I concur! Whole heartedly!
Best 3G HSDPA battery life of ANY phone on the market - including the K850i I used to own.
Best smartphone OS S60 3rd Edition FP1 with FP2 goodness custom to this and the E66 slim slider.
So many useful apps in S60 C++ Carbide, C++, Python S60 (Py60), and Ruby. including flash lite 3 for real website browsing that NO OTHER SMARTPHONE has including WM 6.1 Pro/Standard.

Unless you're going to buy the X1 or the upcoming Xperia with Symbian Foundation OS (the evolution of S60, UIQ, etc) late summer 09; I would advise against buying another SE for a while without 6mth reviews. They've slacked in quality control and it hurts me because I love Ericsson/SE phones. I remember the pain you went through with your W800i.
