A character I've been working on. All coloring and background and titling done in Photoshop.
Character line art kept as shape layer:

Did this probably 10 years ago when I volunteered in AOL's Consumer Electronics area. I think the logos were done in Infini-D, the sketch was scanned in and the whole thing colored and composited in Photoshop.
The baby looks fugley, I know... but I still like the picture. :) For a baby monitor review:

Colored in Photoshop based off of my sketch.
Colored using a Wacom tablet. Beast from the X-Men:

This was a sketch I drew, and scanned, and colored in Photoshop.
I actually have a step-by-step that I outlined on Nextcat:

Colored frames from a comic page I did, for practice.
Subject: Star Trek vs. Venom. Had some fun with this, but it never went anywhere really.

Rendered in 3D Studio Max, but imported into Photoshop for more details and compositing. Alien was a custom model done in the program Organica, and woman was a high-res Poser figure. I added her face plate in through compositing, details to her hair, and highlights and shading around both characters:

Okay, be nice... I just started fiddling with photoshop last night and this is the first thing I made. Not great, but it's kind of cool for an avatar.

This is a few months old, but I never posted it.

A quick little ad to put all over my school for the play. I wasn't in it, but I did the sound/audio tech stuff for it.

It's gimp, but close enough..

All made with GIMP: (made lots more, this is just SOME)

Some explaining:
The first one was made as a show-off, because I found a tutorial at feedthegeeks.com/forum, and it was for photoshop. I was able to make the same effect in Gimp. (http://www.feedthegeeks.com/forum/digital-photography/cool-magic-lighting-photoshop-tutorial-333.htm)

second is supposed to look like foil (found a tut on gimptalk.org)

3 and 4 are supposed to look like water.

and 5 is a wire coming out of a hole in the wall.

I like!

This photo was taken with a really poor p+s camera, blurry and washed out, so I tweaked it a little (a lot) and am happy with this result.

edit: here is the original, too much noise in full size image and not enough detail!

My iPod Mockup

These are my take on iPods with touchscreens.

This is my take on how I want a new iPod to look, with the capabilities of being able to use a touchscreen interface to play games via virtual buttons. The next photo shows how to control the music.

I know i spelled touchscreen wrong. It was done on purpose.

Clicking on the battery life indicator/time would propel a heads-up display(HUD) to fly onto the screen. (Similar to OSX's Expose' feature.) from this heads-up display, you can choose what music you want to listen and skim related albums and bands of the same name and/or genre.

i'm not really good in these photoshops things because i don't have photoshop, i work sometimes with Gimp for basic stuff but then it stops. Can you tell me where you get Photoshop, I mean i know you can buy it, but do you all buy it? a friend of mine told me that er was i kind of photoshop version in mac os classic that comes with tiger dvd's, but i haven't found classic on thoose restore dvd's?

Where do you get it ??

I bought Photoshop CS2 online last year and upgraded to CS3 when it became available, Also online.

Not mine

A friend of mine made this for me as a signature when I used to play World of Warcraft :)

just some stuff I did in my free time :)

L to R:

A) Balls floating on water w/swirls underneath. Composite pics of billard balls & a puddle of reflective paint + various filters & effects
B) Da Pig: Scanned from cover of Pink FLoyd's "Animals" album, then manipulated w/ various effects
C) Landscape creation based on a park in my town. Photoshop + 3D work from my spouse
D) Masks: same as B, but a diff album
E) Evil Mutant Ninja Monkey: Downloaded the base pic somewhere, then played with it just for fun!

enjoy :p

How do you do this? If you could give me some directions on how, I'll be very happy!

I see others have done this, but I don't understand how you did it!

Thanks.

I just had my friend take a few pictures of me, in different positions, while the camera was staying in the same spot.

Then I brought it into photoshop and put them all together and messed with the lighting.
