Haha, it was a mirror shot, the edges are beveled.

The coke can was a real photograph too. I then just added me.

i even had to use a tutorial for it. and i seriously spent all night making it. and for some reason the lines are all scribbly.
and the entries are fake, for those of you who aren't wondering.

i have ps8 and i do nothing with it.
i am a waste.

Duplicate the layer, lock the transparency, fill with black, lower opacity 'til it looks like the other shadow, flip vertically and use free transform to skew the shadow. You can also make the shadow a bit shorter and blur it.

...or he could just use the layer style < drop shadow assuming the person is extracted well enough

Well, with a shadow, I meant a drop shadow on the table. Like the one of the coke.

Duplicate yourself ^^, then go to blending options, choose color fill (or something like that) and choose black as the color.
Then switch to the move tool and hold "ctrl" on your keyboard. Now click and hold the little resize box on the top of the layer and move it. The black layer should now be easy to deform like a drop shadow.

After that you just use a filter like gaussian blur (just a bit) and set the transparency of the layer to about 60-80%.

add a shadow of yourself and it would look ammaaaazing.
