A concept idea I made. Something like a Mac Nano. Dual touchscreens and the like. The DS was used mainly for the size and clamshell design. This was also done quickly and very rough.

Cool!

Sorry to be off-topic, but can you tell me what that icon at the top next to the battery meter is for?

I also like the "Flashback to 3G" one, very cool!

anti-microsoft, that is also very cool!

Is that you on the picture?
I think you should maybe try the eraser tool. Using that tool you can refine the edge. Before using that tool I suggest applying a layer mask with provides you the possibility to draw black or white on your layer mask to erase or undo erasing.

No, thats a friend of mines. To clear up any confusion I am a 18 year old male in college for graphic design.

Here's one of my favorite pieces I made today:

On one of my Macs of course
Aloha everyone,

I was watching the Photoshop for Video podcast (episode 15 - Something from Nothing) and decided to give his idea a whirl. I only have about 9 different layers, but the first four of them are simple gradient overlays with a bit of distortion thrown in. The edge of the Apple symbol isn't the greatest, but I literally just threw it in there. This took me a good 10 minutes or so to finalize, but it still looks pretty good, at least to me. Please let me know what you think.

A couple of designs I've done for a local band as an album cover. Not really done anything like this before, but these are just "rough" examples, I'd go back and touch them up once they choose one.

Krafty, I live in Scotland and I can't find any graphic design courses that seem good. I like the style of your work and it looks as if the college you go to for graphic design would actually suit me, and would be something that i'd enjoy :(

Aloha everyone,

Here are a few more wallpapers (1680x1050) that I created over the past few days. As you can probably tell, I've been experimenting with blending gradients with filters, color layers, and some pictures I found on the web. I hope you like them as much as do I.

A Chromosome with some red blood cells :)

Took me a while in photoshop. Mainly just experimenting around.

Please tell me what you think and how you would make it look more "realistic" :) thanks!

Well, there's a vector shape in photoshop that I can blow up so big it looks like fans. I've attachted a pics of the shape.

All you have to do is use the direct selection tool (the white cursor) and select the inside or outside circle of this shape and move/resize them to create more depth. Then slap on a gradient, and make it huge so the outside circle is outside of the picture plane.
How do you get to that menu? Sorry I just got CS3 and I am trying to learn it.

This isn't Photoshop, but the 3D thread seems to have disappeared. About an hour in NX. The buttons aren't actually a different colour, it's the lighting.
