Not much love for the Ti's! This is the first Ti, 400 mhz and all. Still chugs along awesome. All hail to Big Boy as well!

Funny thing is once you get your powerbook you'll still trawl through all 14+ pages and drool :). I do on a regular basis!

Good luck with your new powerbook Maestro - remember that Macworld is in January and that there's the talk of new revisions of intel powerbooks then. Don't sell yourself short on your new purchase because you're impatient ;).

Yeah, I doubt I will have the money before January. But certainly before June if all goes well. I know I won't be at MacWorld this year, but I do hope that one of these days I will get the chance to go. The problem with me is there are so many different conventions and things that I would like to go to. The next convention that I am going to isn't computer realted but rather anatetur radio related and that is in June. If I could I would love to to MacWorld in January, SXSW in March, and Dayton in May (the later two I don't expect you to know about.. )

More great photos as the pages go by. Now I need to check out the other mac set-up pictures around the forum.

xPismo nice setup! Where did you get that mouse pad? It looks slightly larger than most of the ones I see in the stores.

I love the Ti's :) You are not too far from me in Naperville either as I got to Valparaiso University... which I would not recommend anyone else does haha!

Thanks for the kind comments on my Ti!

It has a special story, as my mac buddy bought it back in '01 "just to see what OSX was all about"...he used it super sparingly, as it sat inside a case most of it's life (he's CCNA) just wasting away! No hinge problems, ZERO paint flaking, NO dead pixels. It's a dreamy Ti for sure!

My boss went to Valparaiso, said it was so-so, maybe it can be confirmed then!

My computer Teacher's old Powerbook was a 15inch Ti, not he has a 17inch Aluminum... Both are fine looking machines, the 15inch Ti is nice and if I found a good 15inch Ti when I get ready to buy a Powerbook, I would get one over the 12inch Aluminum.

Four words "No Macs on Campus" haha. They don't even have any macs for the advanced desktop design course  They try to tell us that everyone in the design industry uses PCs now HAHA! Oh well, at least we use Adobe InDesign and Photoshop so not much changes across the platforms

It was worth it.

The teflon is not perfect, my BT apple mouse hung in a few spots, but my Logitech flows flawlessly across the surface.... mmm. The icon sticker in the corner comes off easy and there isn't one in the center like in the picture.

Oh, and its cold in the morning. Makes me feel good everytime I use it.

This is my new setup, its a new PB with the creature speakers. Also in the shot is the HP 3310 printer, and on the top of the shelf a netgear router. The PB is mine but (out of shot) on the other side of the desk is my parents iMac G5 (built in iSight).

Believe me my desk isn't usually this tidy, I dumped it all out of the way for the photo but now all the junk is back! :D

Nice! I like the clean desk! Even though it's not clean now!

I have the same printer, it's a sweet little machine!

You're pretty lucky to have folks with the new iMac G5! Trying to get my folks to get one as their next one!

Posted it before, but I arranged my desk a little different.

might i ask where you got that desk? i have a large corner glass desk and a matching drawing table but i am moving to a different apt and cannot find a way to fit them. I have been looking for a wide, smoky glass desk just like that. Thanks
