What's the blueish thing on the left?
Man, my jealous meter is off the charts right now. Love those old studio displays.
The 23" ones are really nice.Especially when paired with a ATI X850, fastest card that can natively drive them.
They Seem to only look good when paired with earlier Quicksliver and mdd models, the g5s are too modern looking to pair well with the retro./QUOTE]
Best with the Cube.

But they were designed with the Cube and to be with the Cube.
yeah but the cube was just wayyyyyyy to small and not powerfull enough to drive that 23 inch that well
With a GeForce 3 it can drive it pretty well. It has more than enough electrical power to drive the 23". The Cube has a power supply that is just over 200 watts. Even a fully upgraded Cube with a dual 1.8Ghz upgraded G4 only ever uses about 75 watts. The 23" is rated for a maximum draw of 90 watts. That leaves plenty of extra power for doing nothing with. Almost makes one think that Apple at one time thought about making even bigger ADC displays.
I think they originally thought about making 27inch 30 inch and 32inch displays
They would have been nice. But Apple stopped using the ADC design because the 23" maxed out the rating of the internal connection or something with its power draw.
This is my studio desk setup. Got my Power Mac G5 running OS X 10.5.8, complete with iLife '09 and Adobe CS2. It unfortunatley has a little damage to the top handle bar being damaged in it's delivery.
(Got a nice modern MacBook Pro there running OS X 10.8.3 also of course)

Mainly as a media server, or occasionally as a web browser, photo editor, oldies gaming and music player when my laptop is elsewhere. Specs are in my signature.
A samsung monitor? Shame on you. :ugly:
Wow, that's a really nice setup, damn it looks beautiful.Image
PowerMac7,3 Dual 2GHz, 4GB Ram + 22" Apple Cinema Display and my trusty viper, 12" PowerBook6,8 1.5GHz, 1.25 GB Ram that's acting as the Wi-Fi beacon for the G5, since it's lacking a Wi-Fi card.
