Thrice the awesomeness!
Thanks! I took some new pics of the living room setup with a wide angle lens:

It probably isn't ideal for perfect sound quality, but we like it.

Amazing telly. I have the 40" version. LOVE it.

Picked up the 46"er last night and got a Sharp Aquos 3D BR player to go with it...I concur, what a gorgeous, just gorgeous TV. VERY happy. The TV was on sale for $300 off, and the BR player was free (not a cheap BR player either, it's a $200 machine), so I couldn't resist a $500 savings.

Is there a way to avoid the "soap opera effect" with this TV? My girlfriend's Samsung has that and it drives me nuts.

The effect your talking about might be the 120 hz. the newer tv's well specifically the 120 hz tvs have an entirely different picture. it would look strange or like a home camera setup for someone not used to it. I dont know of any way to turn this off other then go back to a 60 hz tv.

Doing a theater overhaul: wall paint, new furniture. But just nabbed some new speakers and upgraded to 7.1.

Hey Guys,

Saw this thread and thought why not and works well as i just purchased a new tv :D

So after owning my faithful Sony Bravia TV for 4 years i decided it was time to upgrade and purchase a new TV. As the last TV has been so good to me i decided that i would like to purchase another Sony Bravia TV.

After looking around i found the perfect one. Its a Sony Bravia 32" LED Smart TV. My last one was also only 26" so i wanted something a little bigger this time, more so for when I'm watching films :)

Anyway now lets post the images.

Before it looked like the image below. 26" TV, Xbox 360, Sky+, PS3 and deodour backlights from ikea (very good).

So then we come to the new tv. Curently still on the same stand but it is going to be wall mounted hopefully next month. Nothing's changed really apart from having sky hd installed which i had previously with the last tv.

Then we come to my workspace area. iMac 21.5" 2011, Macbook Pro 13" 2010 and iPad 1st gen 32GB 3G.

Any comments much appreciated!

Cheers.

Here is the setup in my bedroom

Panasonic 50" Plasma TH-P50V10A
PS3
Xbox 360
Yamaha 3800 amp
DB Dynamic speakers
PSB Subwoofer

Image

Just wondering why so much equipment in a bedroom? I hesitated putting a 32" in mine and it is a decent size room but it is nice to watch occasionally. I prefer large TV's and theatre equipment in the rest of my house and keeping the bedroom a peaceful escape.

Very nice!

My modest setup at the new place--46" Aquos Quattron with a Sharp Aquos 3D BR player (and a cheapo Sony DVD player for region 2 discs for the wife), all on a $20 IKEA stand, all bought a couple weeks ago (bad white balance iPhone pic):
