Classic environment anyone?

I swear, there's really something about this place.

Not even twelve days into membership, and our newest member has just written a semi-comprehensive installation guide in just over one hour's time, all from his own initiative. And he's not even done!

@556fmjoe You weren't kidding when you said that this forum makes things happen! You people are some of the most driven individuals I've ever seen! o_O

Working with christiann has been a great learning experience for me as well. Hope we can get newer builds like 9A321 working too. If not, then we should focus our efforts on 9A241, making it the definitive G3 build. Still can’t figure out why get info on a file or disk crashes Finder on 9A241 though.

Has anyone tried the newly leaked 9Z1554 build? Here’s the info about it. I think I’m going to download it and try it out. It should work because it’s right between 9A283 and 9A303 which are both working, or should work.

Had to use the Unarchiver to extract BaseSystem.pkg because of this.

Also it looks like we can’t edit OSInstall.mpkg like we could for both 9a241 and 9a303.

I was able to edit the mpkg contents by showing the OSInstall.mpkg contents and opening OSInstall.dist in textedit.
I'm running Mojave 10.14.6 on a Macbook Pro 8,1

Does anyone know if it is possible to theme this release to have the Leopard UI? It'd be nice to have an iMac G3 Snow White next to an eMac with Leopard.
