I have contacted apple and put it in a ticket. Has anyone else contacted Apple to see what they say?

I'd suggest everyone make a bug report. They weren't to aware of it when I contacted them. Went up to a second supervisor level who duplicated it on his phone.

Same issue here, iPhone 7 iOS 10.0.2. Started roughly 3-4 days ago as well. Tried signing out of iCloud and in again but still not working properly. Has to be a server side issue if it's affecting a few devices.

That sound like the likely issue but as was pointed out Mac mail uses IDLE but iOS the problemdoes not. So whatever does the push (server?) could be

To save everyone additional headaches, it's definitely Apple server issue. I wiped and did fresh install, and problem still exists. Figured I'd let you know so you guys can avoid wasting time doing that. Contacted Apple again this morning and was told it has been escalated and someone would call me Saturday.

Thanks for that.

Still broken as I got 3 iCloud emails on my Mac as my iPhone 7+ sits quietly next to me

Something odd is going on with the mail app in general. I have three gmail accounts on my iPhone, and have had them for years across multiple devices and iOS versions. Each account has been set to pull every hour since Google discontinued push support without issue. Since updating to iOS 10, email is pulled at random. Sometimes it pulls each hour as it should, but just today I opened the mail app and noticed at the bottom it was last updated two days ago, and following a manual refresh the mail app downloaded the two days worth of emails. This issue was not present on iOS 9, my multiple Macs have no issue getting email from these accounts, and the issue continues on iOS 10.1 beta.

It has been reported by several others that this just started recently. I, along with others, have had no issue up until a few days ago. This appears to be something internal with the Apple and its protocol to push these to their own email app on iPhones. Only seems to be affecting push service to the default iPhone email app. People across multiple devices as well as being on iOS 9 have reported same issue.

Now that's an interesting find. I have noticed too that when opening the mail app it sometimes does not do an update..... shows hours between updates at times.

An update on my end... still having issues... Contacted Apple yet again, was told that it was escalated and that someone would be getting in contact with me. I am quite surprised that this is not being reported as a major issue by others... perhaps people are unaware or using third party email apps.

After posting in this thread last night, I opened and manually refreshed mail before I went to sleep at 11:57 PM. The next morning I opened the mail app and the last update was 11:57 PM. After a manual refresh, the emails that I received over night arrived. This issue started for me during the late betas of iOS 10, and was reported as a bug at the time by myself.

I'm guessing they messed something up when they made the stock mail app removable, very frustrating. As a temporary fix I started using Outlook, but I would love to get back to the stock app.

Sorry for the newbie question but how do you report it, just via support chat/website?
