The best way to work around this is to set it to fetch 15 min until it's fixed. This way at least you'all get your mail within 15 min instead of hours.

Weird Apple hasn't fixed it.

Count me in. iOS 10. iCloud email just stopped working about 4-5 days ago. Missing out on a lot of important emails. :( now I have made it a habit to open the email app in order to get my emails "on time".

Called Apple and the rep I talked to said it was the first they heard of this issue. Ugh.

It was the first they'd heard when I was chatting to them as well...still ongoing today

Really? Apple still has my ticket open at 2nd tier. You may want to download a 3rd party mail app until this resolved.

I have two tickets open with two tier 2 reps. Both haven't heard of the issue. But the engineers apparently did when I got a follow up call yesterday.

Whats the battery drain effect of doing so. Haven you noticed a difference?

In the other thread one Apple support person suggested turning off iCloud email notifications, then back on. But as someone pointed out, in an hour it fails again.

Yeah I mentioned that. It fails rather quickly. I guess 'Fetch' it is for now. At least I will get them every 15 minutes. I just don't want to see massive battery drain because if it.

On the phone right now with AppleCare. The rep on the phone hadn't heard about this issue and I'm currently on hold while he's "researching" it.

Would it be worth sharing ticket numbers on this?

Edit: Case opened. It was suggested that I could try the reset all settings on the phone but I'm on the road so I don't want to try that just yet. Maybe others can and report back.

I did that last night and issue is still here.

Don't waste your time resetting all settings. Already did when the issue first started last week thinking it was only my device.

Typical Apple response to reset everything. Doesn't fix the problem.

It's probably premature but for the last half an hour all my emails are being pushed as normal to my iPhone. I even sent myself a test email from Gmail and it came in instantly. This is a first for me since this issue started about a week ago. Maybe Apple is finally starting to get working on this (?).

I have had moments of sporadic emails being pushed properly all week... few and far between... But definitely something to keep an eye on.

I'm just amazed that it is taking them this long to fix or address.

Just an FYI... it has also been affecting voicemails too. They have been coming in at random times just like the emails... Some as late as an hour after a message has been left.

I have the same problem as all of you. For a couple of weeks ago I only get emails from time to time and delay. Also I have the iphone 7+. I called Apple and they have raised a query to developers Apple Europe. They have told me that they have not heard other similar cases.

On my 7+, mail wouldn't show up at all unless I opened the Mail app. Seems to be working today, but who knows...
Same thing here. I have a 7+ on 10.1b5 and no push notifications for iCloud mail. Exchange push notifications work just fine. On my 6s on 9.3.3 push notifications for iCloud work just fine.
