I installed Spark email app for now until this gets fixed.
Does it change anything? It was pretty clear that the issue is from the servers and not the client, no?
Correct as does the Outlook app. IMAP-IDLE does reduce battery capacity a bit but for now its worth it.Spark is pushing reliably for me. They must use an IMAP keep alive from their AWS servers to your iCloud account. Whatever iOS uses for Push, it's not working.
This may replace the native app for me.I installed Spark email app for now until this gets fixed.
my 6s on 9.3.3 push notifications for iCloud work just fine.

So it's a iOS 10 issue?

And if so I might just use it as well
I'm not sure it is. My wife's iPhone 6 (running iOS 10.0.2) does not seem to have the same issue we're all having. So it's a iOS 10 issue?
I haven't given that a shot yet, but if/when I do I'll be sure to update.So it's a iOS 10 issue?

So I'm wondering if you receive mail and a badge appears on iOS and you read that mail on the mac, does it automatically remove the badge or depreciate the badge count on iOS?
It should since it uses IMAP idle.
And if so I might just use it as well
It have never worked like that.So it's a iOS 10 issue?

You get notifications from both. From my experience if I read the email in spark, when i open the mail app it doesn't show as new mail. It is there but shows as 'read'Forgive my ignorance but if I installed Spark also receive mail in the native iphone app? I mean when it comes occasionally to the mail app to control if is working
I'm not talking about iCloud mail. I'm talking about sparkIt have never worked like that.
Yes in most cases Spark has updated the badge count when read in another mail client. But its because Apple does not use IMAP IDLE in their iOS mail app where Spark does.I'm not talking about iCloud mail. I'm talking about spark
Macrumours could also help by posting a thread on their main page for such issue.Contact Apple support. We need to make them see there are issues. I've got two tickets in

I'm not sure this works. Delays have been fixed for about 6 hours here.Have you tried to delete the native app and reinstall it from the app store? I've done and it seems that now reach mails correctly, but it may be temporary ... Now it works, I will update if it fails
Perhaps here it`s fixed too, and that is why now workI'm not sure this works. Delays have been fixed for about 6 hours here.
