Question about authenticity of Link Bands

Picked up a New Other from the seller yesterday. It shipped last night. Can’t wait to get it!
 
I feel like these are "off the clock" OEMs. Possibly made after hours in the same factory as the originals, making them indistinguishable. Hence the prices.

Interesting. But they are scratched up - some of them quite badly. It really is a mystery.

Meanwhile, the 42mm is listed as 'currently unavailable' on the UK Apple Store. I wonder if it has been discontinued.

Not sure. Some of the pics I’ve seen from the seller lol really nice.
 
That's why I stopped buying, quality would vary. Some earlier ones looked brand new with plastic film on clasp, to some recent having several scratches on the non replaceable links. Not really too bad. Prices were cheaper than others seem to be paying but I bought in bulk. (42mm black link.)
The fellow was very honest but just could not guarantee me which quality I would receive and 3-4 week shipping.

Chargeback, why? The guy is honest, the bands were very good and cheap. I just prefer knowing exactly what condition I am getting.
 
My package already in the states. Pretty quick!
Anyone else get theirs?

The bands aren’t painted. All the black link bands come in matte black (diamond like carbon). The sides of the band are shinier.

Mine is being delivered this week
 
I offered up to $125 for the black link bracelet, and the seller countered at $173 the lowest which seems way higher than most paid here wtf.
 
I offered him $80 on a band and he accepted. I just received it today and it's in near mint condition. There are some scuffs and it's obviously worn but I will *not* complain about the condition. Looks perfect with my S3 Stainless.

I got my Link Band in the mail today, so It came in a small manilla padded envelope and the band was wrapped in some cling on film and placed in a long baggie. Mine did come with a few scratches and the bottom was of the band was dirty so I cleaned the top and the bottom. The scratches are still there. So if you get the New (other) one it will have less scratches but there will be some.

No I got the Stainless Steel Band. I did not take any pics since I sold my phone and I payed off my remaining balance on it and pre-order the iPhone 10 next week.
 
My band came in today.
Extremely happy with this. Definitely 100% legit.
Polished sides on both sides of band, “stainless 316” markings on the clasp, “assembled in China” at the end of the link.
I haven’t cleaned it up yet. But should look very nice after.
