Flightaware never showed that yesterday's flight left either. But it did. So I wouldn't worry about that. Packages were scanned and I bet they are on there way to Alaska. Should be there around 4 or 5 o' clock EST.
white iPad 32
Ordered my white iPad 32 on 4/5. Gave me an ship date of 4/26, to arrive don 4/28. Yesterday did not receive any emails from Apple stating it shipped. Nothing this morning. JUST received an email from Apple stating there is a "delay" and that the new ship date is 5/3 to arrived on 5/4. This sucks..poor customer service. I have doubts it will arrive according to this new schedule....

Ordered by black ipad2 32GB wi-fi on 3/29........In the original order confirmation i got from apple, it said:
Ships: Apr 26
Delivers Apr 29 by Standard Shipping
Then it changed to ships April 25th, delivers by April 26th....
On April 21st, got an email from apple saying that it shipped and should be here by:
Delivers by Apr 26, 2011
Also on April 21st, got an email from UPS saying:
Status: In Transit: On Time
Scheduled Delivery: 04/25/2011
Its now 4/27, and it JUST left hong kong today.......So, i'm hopeful that it will arrive tomorrow, but i dont really have faith in UPS at this point......we'll see what happens!
Status says its in transit to Louisville KY, but according to FlightAware, neither of the UPS flights for Anchorage have left yet........i guess its literally up in the air at this point (the delivery date and possibly the package)

If I just had the UPS tracking#, I would feel better off...but my order has been in the Prepared for Shipment status since last week <sniff>I'm with you. You would think they would want to ship not sit on it. Mine has been in the Prepared for Shipping status now for 44 hours. I'm hoping to see it shipped tonight ...

yeah, its been pretty rediculous up until this point, but i thought i was finally seeing the light of my ipad screen at the end of the tunnel, but now the lights just sitting there, not getting any closer!!

I think Apple does want to ship them. I think that the carriers are either having a problem keeping up with the shipments or Apple has reached some sort of daily quota regarding how much they can ship at a time. All of this is really crazy stuff. I have ordered the original iPhone upon release, the iPhone 3gs on release, the iPhone 4 on release, and the original iPad on release, all obviously high demand items shipping from China, and I never had any shipping problems. I guess my luck ran out.
if you got the earlier flight from hong kong at 7:15am, it arrives at 12:20 alaska time. I wonder if we would be able to catch this one to louisville:

I ordered mine 6 days ago and wehn I first ordered it, I couldve SWORN Apple charged my card. But I go and look at my balance today and its unchanged.

Greetings all. Been watching this thread for the past few days. Good to know I'm not the only one a bit hacked off by the whole thing.
I'm a day short of the month anniversary of my order (Mar 28, 32gb black wifi). Looks like I'm in the same boat, en route to Louisville at the moment. I'm starting to let the excitement of getting the thing wear off. Seems I should stop expecting it soon.
