Finally in the USA

Wow, after being trapped in Hong Kong for what felt like weeks (it was 2 days) it's in the USA :))) Now I get a bloody weather warning? WTF! Also I had a strange new alternate tracking reference added to my own reference - what's all that about? I don't see an ETA date for delivery either anywhere.

Even the 9.30 PM flight from Hong Kong arrived at Anchorage, and left for Louisville within 90 min! After almost a week long wait, things progressed pretty fast today!! :)

ordered April 6

My Ipad2 got to alaska via FEDex but I don't know if it will get to Newark in time to get on a truck to Albany, NY for the scheduled delivery tomorrow.There is a flight in the air right now but I didn't get an in transit scan for it.

Status just updated, My ipad is on the flight to newark that arrives there at 2:20 am. Then just another 3 hours by truck back north to Albany NY, :D
 
I've been following this forum since 4/10 and my time is almost done. I wanna say thanks to all the people that went out of their way to find plane routes and times. Wow, some of you need to relax a bit. There more to life, but I'm sure the iPad 2 will enhance it. Welcome to tomorrow!

Ordered a 32GB Black AT&T on April 9th when the shipping wait times were 2-3 weeks.
Originally scheduled for a May 2nd ship date with a May 5th expected delivery date.
Just got the email that it shipped today (April 27th)! Expected delivery of May 3rd!
 
I know Apple charges your card when it becomes prepared for shipping, but do they put a hold for the amount on the card for 48 hours when you order it and then release the hold? How does that work?
