I purchased iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I have to say, coming from original SE, it’s been a frustrating experience. First and foremost, the battery life is bad. I find myself constantly searching for a charger by evening. This has made the phone incredibly inconvenient for daily use. Also phone heats up like crazy and 17.0.3 has not fixed the issue.

The phone is too big and heavy but theres very little extra content shown on the screen. So it’s like just streched regular screen.

The software updates have become a nightmare. It seems like every other day there’s a new update that disrupts everything… iOS 17.0.1… 0.2… 0.3… Not to mention, some of these updates have caused compatibility issues with third-party apps, making them crash or behave erratically.

The camera, while touted as a major selling point, has been a letdown. The pictures are often overprocessed, and in low light, they are downright terrible. It feels like the camera’s capabilities were oversold, and it’s not living up to the hype.

The phone is incredibly fragile, and even a minor scratchinh can lead to a ruined finish. And when it does scratch, the repair costs are astronomical. It’s almost like they want you to buy a new phone instead.

In summary, this iPhone has been nothing but a headache. The poor battery life, huge size and weight without more screen real estate, heat issues, constant updates, disappointing camera, and fragile design make it a frustrating and expensive device to own. I expected more from a flagship iPhone, but unfortunately, it falls short in many areas.
Name checks out. This is 110% Android user bashing the 15 PM just because.

I’d love for you to elaborate more on this with your experience and photos of the scratches you’re talking about.

I’m also curious which repairs you’re referring to because the repair cost for back replacements on this phone went down.
Can you provide a quote you've received on the scratch repair?

The good news is that everything the iP15PM does, it does better than any Android :)

Get yourself a MagSafe Popsocket, makes holding a larger phone much easier, and make sure you buy a MagSafe case, too.

He is right. I have the exact same things going wrong. I come from a iPhone 4s and the camera is 10 times better on the 4s. I will give away my 15 Pro Max to a forum user for free. Anyone interested?
I’ll happily accept your 15 Pro Max if you’re giving it away! :)

Another newbie account that joined yesterday posting wild claims.

They all seem to come out during iPhone releases, then disappear shortly after.
Give it time. It’s a sad state of affairs to see where Apple has
If you dont like it, return it and get your money back, it’s that simple actually. No need for announcement we have tons of doom posting every new launching already lol.
didn’t know that’s one’s experience equates to the general populous of users. Let’s hope more companies see it the way you do.

Oh i have my fair share of experience with 14 pro , remember the rattling issue ? I was one of them, which is an actual issue. One thing i learn through out all this . Just return and change it or just return it and refund if you dont like it. Sure everyone entitle to their own opinion and comparison, but posting over it and going through it its jus irrelevant . Life is as complicated as it is no need to over complicate trivial matters .

Have you heard of iphone 15 pro or a iphone 15. The Pro Max is the largest phone on the market, you should had tried it before you bought it.

What’s the point of these posts? You ****ed up on YOUR choice lol just return it, you aren’t stuck with this phone buddy

I’ve had my 15PM for 1 week now. I came from iPhone 11.

I was kinda nervous about the heat issue. But so far I’ve had no heat problems on mine. Everything the OP posted, I feel like it’s the opposite for me. Everything has been great

Exactly, i dont understand, There are choices around . If you dont like it return it and get your refund or return and get something else.

I wonder if all these new accounts, with purportedly problematic iPhones, are due to this:

As Smartphone Industry Sputters, the iPhone Expands Its Dominance

Apple, which is set to release a new iPhone on Tuesday, has increased its share of smartphone sales by converting Android customers and adding teenagers.

Over the past five years, the iPhone has increased its percentage of total smartphones sold around the world while expanding its share of sales in four of the world's largest regions: China, Japan, Europe and India. ...

Apple has expanded its smartphone empire as the broader industry has faltered. Over the past two years, sales of Android smartphones have plummeted, but the iPhone has suffered only modest declines because it’s been winning new customers. It has done so despite being the industry's priciest device.

Apple has overcome price sensitivity by creating a business that is reminiscent of U.S. car sales. Like a car, iPhones last for years and can be resold to offset the purchase of a new one. Wireless providers, much like auto dealers, offer discounts and monthly payment plans that make it more affordable to buy the latest model. And customers, like brand-loyal car buyers, are more likely to buy another iPhone than switch to Google's Android operating system.

What people dont understand is , be it apple products or android end of the day consumer are the losing end of the stick. ( it all boils down to getting you to purchase and spend )what matter the most is which one suited for you and choose your poison and be done with it as long as it does what you need , To camp as fan boys on either side and creating new account just for this every year be it ios device or android when there is a new launching just to piss on it its just naive and childish approach.

Opinions ,feedback and review can be taken as face value as check and balance but not cast in stone. The best opinion and review is the user itself . Dont like it ? Return and exchange or refund its ok to voice out but keep the unnecessary drama out , as if life and whats happening around the world itself is chaotic enough no ?

It's the equivalent of a f/27 lens. TLDR it requires A LOT of light to work well and reportedly still isn't great in bright daylight

AI will overcome physics eventually but it hasn't happened in the Camera app yet
A LOT of light… as in a search light? Like a double sun on Tatooine? Come on… it takes absolutely decent photo’s for the small lenses it has to content with. To which DSLR are you comparing?? Besides a lone OPPO phone there aren’t any significantly better point and shoot camera’s (aka smartphones).
