It's cool man. It's not that serious aha. I'll find another.I know that what can be classified as art is subjective, but are you serious about wanting that as a wallpaper?.
It's layout would need to be altered and practically re-drawn completely to better fit the screen, something I won't personally do unless I find pleasure in doing the work. While I don't find the subject matter interesting, if you are indeed serious about it perhaps you could try and find out the name of the artist who did the mural painting on the building facade. With that you could attempt to locate them possibly and see if they have a higher resolution photo available.
Your source was useless Night, (as you are now aware) . I've went ahead and done up some new ones for you though in retina resolution. I've also done you three variations based on different camo styles. Enjoy~

I uploaded some more retina resolution iPad wallpapers. This time the theme was "technology". I've got both standard and retina resolutions available (it's explained on the page)

This isn't retina resolution but it still looks damn good on the new iPad both home and lockscreen.
Click on a retina jpg on your iPad in Safari: they render as 1024x1024 pixel images. PNGs render the full 2048x2048.
PNG can also be huge. A thread full of PNGs would hard to view for any, if not most. Might use up a lot of their data plan too.
Pictures are saved in their original resolution when you save them to your iPad.. I tested by saving directly on my iPad and used iPhoto (iPad version) to check the resolution, it shows 2048*2048..

In their defense, this was my understanding as well. Glad to be corrected. I do find it odd that Safari shows 1024. Is this just a reporting glitch or is the image only 2048 AFTER you save it?
